The bigger problem was that both Highsmith AND Herbig were out. The other team could just easily double Watt and not worry about pressure from the other side. I think if we have 2 healthy EDGE rushers, our defense is hard to beat.

Herbig played the entire loss against the Colts and a big chunk of the game against the Cowboys.

Teams figured out TJ watt for the most part. If the Steelers just need to contain the QB then the Steelers will keep running him into double and triple teams from the left side. If they want to get more pressure on the QB then the Steelers will have to rotate him periodically from the right side also. I love TJ but his presence is not the same as it once was.

Then what does that say about everyone else on that line, think of what You said. If he is getting, and he is getting doubled, and sometimes tripled .....why are the others not putting more pressure??? Cam is the only one that is getting constant pressure when singled up at this point, and he's a old man.

I’m not ready to say that window on his exceptional play has closed. He has gotten a ton of attention this year in terms of help being proved to the RT.

He looked like his usual dominant self early this season, but he hasn't been quite the same of late. I think he is playing through an upper body injury of some sort. I remember him grimacing after a play earlier this year, I think it was the Dallas game. He used to make more plays despite all the attention from opposing offenses. The ability still seems to be there. I just don't think he is 100 percent.
