At this point I would be extremely disappointed if the Steelers don’t at worst go 4-2 in this stretch of 6 games and are 7-2 going into that “gauntlet” of their last 8 games with all the division games with Philly and KC mixed in. If they are 7-2 going into their home game with the Ravens here on November 17th they will be in extremely good shape to win the AFC North.

So we’ll see what happens. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself but things are looking very good right now for the Steelers. They are in excellent shape to not only make the playoffs and maybe win the AFC North but to also challenge both the Chiefs and the Bills for those top 2 seeds and home field advantage in the AFC.

The season is too long to be thinking about top 2 seeds right now, a couple more major injuries they could be fighting for the 7th seed.

No I can look ahead. I’m not playing so it’s okay to look ahead and predict the games coming up in the next month. The Steelers absolutely need to take it one week at a time but we as fans can look ahead and see what this teams record could be come mid-November.

I see ESPN analytics have the Steelers at 53% chance of winning the division. The Ravens are at 28%, the Bengals at 13% and the lowly Browns at 6%.

Steelers winning margins are way too thin at this point in time to think there are any layups on their schedule. 3-0 is a good start though...

I’m with you there a lot can still happen. But this schedule is very very favorable this next month and if they can stay injury free and not lose guys like TJ Watt they should be in very good shape come mid November to get in the playoffs without much of a problem and win this division.

Maybe the second half of the season will not be as tough...Bengals and Browns struggle big time and this is possible that the bengals defense can't be fixed, same for Watson in Cleveland.3-1 against those teams is possible for the steelers if they continue to improve

Just go one game to the next. They will hit some bumps in the road for sure. But, get any win you can, its a good start.

Steelers always drop games to teams they should beat. Last year it was AZ and NE. It's been happening consistently since 2014 and it is slowly driving me insane. So don't be surprised if Steelers lay an egg in Indy. Also, the Commanders look like they are not going to be a pushover... and quite possibly better than the Cryboys.

One week at a time, bla bla bla. I think every NFL fan looks ahead and thinks what could be. I know those last 8 games are scary. I'm so happy we get Cowboys, Jets and Giants in the Burgh. 7-2 is what I'm thinking or should I say hoping. 4-4 last 8 and we are in good shape. I'm predicting Jets and Washington beat us.

We have a stupid local radio station that has an NFL update on Tuesday's. When the Steelers came up one guy said he could see us going 0-8 the last 8. I tried to get through but the lines were tied up.

Indy ---- stop Jonathan Taylor and keep containment on Anthony Richardson and we've got this....
    Minkah will have 2 int's

Dallas ---- their defense is in disarray... this is more than doable so long as our defense holds serve and we're not in a shootout

Vegas ---- keep Minshew uncomfortable and it's ours

Jets ---- this will be like the Chargers game with both defenses getting after it.... if we wear them down like the Chargers then we will get out of this one

Giants ---- classic trap game.. this is the one where the coaches have to put their foot on the gas pedal and keep it down to avoid any surprises

Bye ---- get healthy for the stretch run

Washington ---- containing Daniels will be the key, because their defense isn't stopping anyone

We could win all six of those games, or we could lose all six of those games. I'm not saying that in a facetious manner, but rather that I think we have a team that is capable of beating all six of those teams, but Steelers history for the past few years has been to underperform when called upon.

It's really hard to say how we will do on these games. A lot of it is going to depend on our running backs. Patterson appears to be stepping up which is great. Hopefully Warren is back to form really soon. And hopefully Harris stays healthy. We are a twisted ankle away from having to make some big adjustments. Thankfully on the defensive side, we are loaded with talent. I don't want any of them to have to miss games like Highsmith is doing now, but injuries there are less likely to destroy our season due to death.

I don’t see the Indy game as being a trap game. Things are clicking very well for us right now with a lot plays still to be made. I think they will play well as a team this weekend. Plus there will be a ton of Steelers fans there like always and the Defense feeds off of that.

Dallas does not look as hard today as when sched was released.
    Jets will be tough.
    So will Commando's.

I take nothing for granted, we lost to two 2-10 teams at home last year on consecutive weeks. One played in the desert. The other had Brady Zappe as a QB. I take no team as a given.

I don't mind 'looking down the road' a little.
Injuries can change the shape of things in the bat of an eye.
The worst I could see would be 5-4 and the best 7-2.
The Jets seem to be for real as does Washington.
Wildcard games are Indy and Dallas.
If I were a betting man, I might wager on a 6-3 run. 7-2 isn't hard to imagine.

4-2 over the next 6 games is doable. Even 3-3 is fine. Anything better? Look out.

Remember those games last season against the lowly Patriots and Cardinals, so I wouldn't be counting any games as a guarantee win.
