No one else really stood out. Wilson didn't play a great game, but he had 3 td passes.

Would've (and probably should've) gone with Pickens, because outside of a few big plays I don't think Wilson was super great today. However, the late TD pass to Williams was really nice and he made the play when it mattered... Cant really argue when there wasn't really a standout player otherwise

Yeah He lead 5 td drives...not his fault if Warren fumbles at the goal . I believe Washington hasn't given up over 17 points all Year at home.....if the guys that were talking about that can be believed. Great Job Wilson. May You have many more.

Now if Russ can train Fields on how to throw a rainbow deep ball and that soft touch pass when in the red zone.

His stats were nothing to write home about except for the big one 3 td's .

At times I watch and think he has lost it , then he drops one over Georges shoulder along the sideline that no one but George can catch.

He reminds me he is a talented veteran QB, not as good as he was but more than good enough with this defense.

Steelers 3-0 , 30.3 PPG since Russell Wilson became a starter. We averaged 20.7 a game before. Go Russell Wilson.

Nobody is trying to knock Wilson, but there's no reason to hype up a game he didn't play awesome in. Like, he threw 14/28 for under 200 yards. It just wasn't his best game. He made enough plays to win (and made a great play with just over 2 mins left in the game that was the difference), but he mostly struggled the first 3 quarters. He played great before the bye and will hopefully play many more great games this year... I expect that he will. This one was not his best, and that is okay.

If 14/28 for 195 yards was good enough, Justin Fields would still be the starter. We played Wilson to have games like he had against the Jets and the Giants. Hopefully he torches the Ravens for a big one next week.

And 18 last year. Helped out by finishing 34, 30, and 17 points in the last 3 games. First 14 games we barely averaged 15 ppg.

    LoL.
Exactly what a guy that didn't want the change to happen would say. Yeah I know that scoring 28 points, and should be 35 points if Warren doesn't fumble.....against a team that hasn't given up over 17 at home (if the announcer were correct when they said that) doesn't mean much to you, but sure is funny that a guy that has scored 7 td(not counting the other two that were taken away last game) in 3 games is OK, but a guy that only scored 10 in 6 games.....You , and your Fields crowd keeps hollering for to take his place. LoL

I'm literally not tho... Where, anywhere, have I said that I want Fields to take his place as the full time starter? I responded to someone in the GDT today who said to bring Fields in when Wilson was sucking and I said "way too early to even think about that". When people wanted to see Fields some when Russ was struggling in the red zone, I said that "we shouldn't take Russ out every time in the RZ, but a single series every few games might not be a bad idea. Can't disrupt the starting QB". You're literally making things up for no reason....

RUSSELL IS THE STARTING QB AND SHOULD BE. Like, what? Stop trying to run with it because you were the one that was happy about making the change when I questioned the timing of it. It paid off. Tomlin made the right call and Russ should be starting. But don't come in here with weird energy "OMG WHAT A GREAT GAME BY RUSS! MORE GAMES LIKE THAT TO COME!" when the dude didn't play particularly well for 3 quarters today. Russell has been a really good player in this league. He's had 190 career starts and this one isn't going on the top 100 of his list... He made the big play when we needed it, but I guarantee you that Russ will say it wasn't his best game. What is wrong with that? lol

In the first 14 games, the steelers had their worst PPG on offense since 1970,the rookie season of Bradshaw....It was that bad and they were so lucky when they had a 6-3 record after 9 games last year!

One of the worst 6-3 team of all-time last season!

This team is SO MUCH better than last year's team. We really need that to translate into a win in the post season. Need that monkey off our backs. I honestly think we have a dangerous team. We can beat anyone in the AFC. We just have to when it matters.

Would be fine if that is all it was, but you, like Your crowd was saying they should sit Russell, and bring in Fields during this game.... So let stop trying to pretend. Also.....I like How you keep skipping over the 3 td passes.

Wilson made plays Fields can't make, as he has done in all three games.

Highsmith was a disrupter today. Hope the ankle is OK. Queen had his best game, I thought

They need a little better luck with injuries. Losing Highsmith again really hurts even with the trade for Smith and the return of Herbig.

Never said that, and would welcome you to bring any evidence that I did. I even have a comment in the game day thread responding to someone saying that it is "way too early to talk about benching" when it was suggested that Fields should go in. I did say that Russ was playing poorly a couple times (for the first 3 quarters of the game, he did), but never anything close to sitting him. I'm not pretending anything, you're either misremembering or confusing me with someone else.

Whatever man, if you think he played an awesome game today, you're more than welcome to believe that. Based off your comments in previous weeks, I thought your standards were much higher. But if you lower them down for your man Russ, then fine lol your prerogative.
