I'm reading this a lot on here and I think you guys are forgetting about someone; Ozzie Newsome. I hate the Ravens as much as the next guy, but Ozzie Newsome is a very good GM. The Ravens have been through cap hell before (as have most teams) and they did what was necessary and quickly returned to one of the top teams in the league. They've been pretty consistent for quite some time now and this isn't the first time they've faced cap issues. I think Ozzie Newsome will make sure that team remains competitive, or at least returns to being competitive before long.

I have just as much faith in the Ravens management as I do in our own management. Both teams are very well run from the owner down. Don't expect the Ravens to fall off.

From one Harbaugh to another. Interesting...didn't see this coming...i figured he'd get cut. Wonder what Boldin thinks about this? Since he said he'd retire if he wasnt playing for the Ravens.

Everyone is going nuts on twitter that the Niners are geniuses and just committed highway robbery.

I'll admit I'd take Boldin yesterday on our team, but at 6 mil for the season? The Niners have the cap room, and a 6th rounder is nothing for someone like Boldin... But let's not forget he (and Flacco) caught fire during the playoffs, but was far from dominant during the whole regular season.

He's also 33 years old. I could easily see him not surpassing 40 catches and 3-4 TD's this season given his age...

But that might just be me.

wow!!!!... the 49ers got off pretty cheaply... considering the extra picks from the alex smith trade and getting boldin for practically nothing, almost looks like bill walsh is pulling the strings again

Yeah he's getting to that age where he could slip some. But for a 6th rounder...if they are willing and able to pay him 6mil...then more power to them. They couldnt get ANY player in the draft with a 6th with Boldins talent/ability/etc. Plus they still have like 10-11 picks left, haha.

The 49'ers have money to play with since the shipped out Alex Smith and Kaepernick is still on the cheap.
