That is the problem. The line isn't holding up long enough to run more complex routes. They also aren't getting the job done in the running game, which is inexcusable against a run defense this bad.

 

I don't know why, it's always been like that.

Would be nice if our OL wasn't meh for the first time in forever. Them again, the state of OLs across the entire league is actually pretty bad in general. The poor state of QBs the last couple years or so can be blamed, at least in part, to OLs being generally poorly built, or teams not having the cap space to pay for good protection for their often increasingly expensive QBs.
