What's Cookin? commoders edition

well we are back and pretty healthy. Sunday funday game. it sure seems like it's time for some wings. probably boneless but we shall see. buffalo style and some other flavors. any ideas? maybe even some buffalo chicken dip and chips seem likely.

 

Since I will be in town, probably go by DC Prime Saturday night.
For the game, there's always great tailgate food.
Wings and beer are always on the menu for me.

 

Sunday games usually involve take-out. Hoping for Chinese this week.

 

The last two games the Steelers won while my meal was leftover pizza. I guess I’ll take one for the team again and go with that. Terrible how superstitious I actually am. It would be better if I were in Pittsburgh where there are 10 local pizza places in every town instead of mostly chains where I live.

 

I’m still working on the plan but smashed Redskin potatoes sounds like an option somehow

Same for us. Probably Hot Head Burritos this week, but my wife always gets crunchy tacos instead of a burrito.

 

i like the grilled cheese thought but clam chowder i haven't eaten in years. i got really sick after eating it one time and can't even look at it now.

 

Still Chili , hopefully chili next week, and the next, and so on.

 

I Love Clam Chowder. I actually like both versions.

If I were in DC I'd be headed to Morton's of Chicago in Georgetown for a hand-picked Tomahawk with all the trimmings. Jeh's smashed Redskin tators would be a nice side dish.

But since I'll be 3500 miles away - probably just a handmade deli sandwich on Yiddish Rye from my fridge.

 

You are going to game? Curious if there will be a lot of Steeler fans there? Tailgate with Steeler fans or friends with Skin fans?
