I'm not splitting hairs, it's simply what I think, he does fit with Wilson's downfield airdrop passes though.

And I'm not sure what you're reading either.

I doubt this trade gets Khan off of some posters naughty list. As I have been known to say to my kid on occasion, you get what you get and you don't throw a fit.

IDK which pick in the round the traded, but hard to quibble over value between a 6rh or 5th, especially with the low CAP cost. His cost monetarily is minimal and it he plays even half way decent that can offer some deal to keep him on the roster without breaking the bank. He can seek employment or may like the surroundings and stick around. I do not think this makes us a SB contender, but it makes a team making a push for the PO's and a possible run better.

I'm not sure either guy was ever an option, but I do hope they at least offered a fourth-rounder and maybe another pick for Hopkins.

In a word, no. Mike Williams=Van Jefferson. Guess that was the best they could do.

And I also don't care what he did with a dysfunctional team like the Jets

RE: Mike Williams... another 30 year-old WR.
Wasn't much selection out there... but for a 5th, if we get 2-years it will be good.
He is 6'4" 220lb target with some speed... not blazing but good.
He has experience and knows how to get open.
He just was the odd man out there in Jet-land where everything sucks.
    Could Omar have done better?
Not at this stage in the game. Earlier yes.
    Grade: C

    RE: Preston Smith
Well, I like him because he is a close personal friend.
Back in Washington, they blew it with him... he had some good years in GB.
Smith is 31.... so he adds age to our team.
He does know how to get after a QB and I think he fits well into our schema.
Question is, can he make those plays he's made in the past?
I think he has some gas in the tank left.

Washington probably made the best trade.
Lattimore was a player I would like to see here.
Adding him to that defense is a big step forward.
Hope he doesn't play against us.

That reason is Rodgers being a cry baby. Yet you're here crying.

I’ll say they made the right move shipping DJ out of here and getting a quality DB but then not getting someone to replace him right away was the failing part of that move but DJ had to go. Panthers already traded him away, he must be a real cancer in the locker room. I heard one of his last interviews while with the Panthers and he said “I can’t play every position.” You sure can quit on plays like no one else though, eh DJ.

    I'd say 'Amen to that."
I had heard some bad things about DJ as well, that being one.
He was an awful influence for Pickens.

We'll see a young WR crew in here led by Terry McLauren, and that's how you lead rookies, young guys.
I would have loved to get Terry in here to play for us.

What is interesting is Aaron Rodgers says Mike is still coming back from the injury...maybe there is hope we can see the old Mike Williams appear at some point?

Williams was a good player 3-4 years ago, he's not as good as Diontae right now who had 700 yards and 5 TDs last season.
