The only guys that stay in the NFL are the guys that get better, so you're entire argument is a self-fulfilling statement?

 

This goes way back, but Jim Plunkett is a classic example. Had all the talent, went to a horrible team and organization. Went to the 9'ers and nothing happened, when he went to the raiders I remember it being said Al Davis told him to get healthy, I think it was a couple of years before he took over and lead them to two SB wins.

 

That's not true. Some just quit, and some are so bad that nobody wants to sign them, and others are said to be problematic, and don't get signed.

 

Keep in mind that both opposing defenses were without half of their starting secondaries in those games. The road is going to get a lot more difficult after the break.

 

Maybe getting their collective asses kicked by the Ravens will convince the front office that the Broncos are going nowhere, but I doubt it, so I doubt it will be Sutton.

 

Lockett would be a nice pickup. Theilin is done.

Saw the headlines where he walked off the field "in the middle of a play". One of my first thoughts was welp, maybe the Bears can get fleeced again.

JJ Watt of all people is the one who picked up that he had stepped out of bounds, and therefore was not an eligible option on the pass play, so he just removed himself from the field so that Williams wouldn't target him. Instead of the "giving up on the team" headlines, he was actually making a pretty heads up play.

 

It was a no brainer for the lions

In other news, not wanting to miss out on anything, Jerry Jones does the most Jerry Jones thing ever. Trading a 4th to the Panthers for WR Jonathan Mingo while his star QB is set to go on IR for the next four weeks. Meanwhile, they still don’t have a RB. Say what you will about Khan, but however bad we think our GM is at least he’s not Jerry Jones

 

With both Sutton and Trice expected back, would you trade CJ Henderson to the Dolphins for Calais Campbell?

Calais Campbell is 38, but still playing good this year, and only on a 1 year contract with Miami. He sure would help the Steelers stop the run this year.
