Right now the Steelers are signing WRs off the Street on Wednesday, and playing them in a game on Sunday. It is crazy how desperate the Steelers are because Khan had no plan in place to replace DJ when he traded him away.


Michael Thomas hates Derek Carr for what he calls throwing him a bad ball and getting him injured in 2023. You hear this talk all the time from former NFL players talking about QBs that don't have enough ball control and are throwing balls that are going to get people hurt.

You tell me if Michael Thomas was wrong about saying Derek Carr got Chris Olave injured by throwing him a bad ball.

Let’s say we can’t land a receiver…what else can the team do to improve?

Sometimes a good defense can make up for the offense. What if we could improve D-line with an impact player? Outside of Heyward and Benton, we have decent guys, but not anything we couldn’t improve upon.

 

Benton has not been good this year. We could certainly use DL help.

 

I feel Benton was better earlier on in the season ... is he trying to play through an injury maybe?

 

It is a little early to give up on him, but yes, they need a big run stuffer in the middle of that defensive line.

some of this happens EVERY WEEK in the NFL. Guys get hurt - some guys are are bagging groceries one week and playing football the next.

Khan had a plan. We have 3 solid WR's, our regulars. You know their names. Wilson's mishap at WR were not Khans fault. He was #4. Scotty Miller is #5.
