    Until the Steelers find the next Casey Hampton at NG,our run
    defense is going to suffer.Benton has been a huge disappointment.

    Cams one weakness. It always has been. Even at His very best...He sometimes in the run game ,can be pushed around.

    All of the longest runs have been over the left guard position. Whoever the Steelers have on the right side is a problem.

    It depends on what you mean by matters. For that one game, yes. If you are trying to evaluate what the team did that day and what it might do the rest of the season, you need to consider both the points and the yardage. I'm not dismissing points against as a measure of defensive success. If you use that as your only measure, you are not getting a full and accurate picture of what is going on with that defense.

    Except a lot of our good runs are where that guy on the right pulls to lead the play. McCormick is doing fine for a rookie.:cool:

    Also need to move TJ and Highsmith around which surprisingly was done in the Giants game and seem to be effective.

    did we not win a game this year by kicking only field goals? So some other team did a pretty good job on our offense yet lost the game. Our D was better in that game. So i get what you're saying but to not be concerned about this defense is deluding yourself. And I typed that while pretty high!!! I'm getting good at this stuff!

    It’s not luck but it is certainly unsustainable and a riscky way to play defense.

    Just wait until the D gives up 40 points in a playoff game again and suddenly yards will matter.

    No he is a huge IDL that plays at University of Cincinnati. Had some health issues but seems
    to be back on track I have seen him as high as late 2nd round. Again his health will have to be checked out.

    I think some of yinz need to watch more than a Steeler game to see that they are not that bad at defending runs up the middle;

    I was referring to the defense, not offense. Opponents are getting chunk yards running left.

    They had short field all game long....But on a long season, yards matter but this is not the only stat who matter

    missing adams i believe. he had been playing well. my main concern is ogunjobi, heyward and benton not getting off the field enough with 9 tough weeks to go. they could use another big body as a depth piece down the stretch. :cool:

    Casual fans really dont know much about what really goes on. We are better in run than we are in pass. We are alot better against the run when Roberts gets more snaps. Facts

    They re-sgned Fehoko to the PS last week. Been through a couple of our camps, injured recently, but a body, lol. Liked the signing originally but never made the squad.

    i thought he was going to be a difference maker as depth but just hasn't. i don't think he's the type they need in our two down linemen sets. adams could play outside and in where fehoko isn't that type of guy. he would be OK in our base 3-4. :cool:

    I wouldn't care as long as the offense scores 41 points or more :thumbs_up:
