He has never thrown a block like Ward in his career. The closest I have seen that matches Wards hit was Juju Smith Schuster peel back block on Burficts

 

Who's complaining about Pickens playing rough? And when did Pickens play rough? Is there a specific incident you're referring to or are you being ambiguous on purpose?

Pickens is obviously a great WR already.... but let's see him be "clutch" like Hines Ward, Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown and Santonio Holmes when it really counts in December and January.

 

He clutched up pretty well in Mason's first game against the Bengals. Was a must-win game and had his biggest game in terms of yards as a pro and his only multi TD game of his career. Followed it up the next week with the second biggest game of his career yards wise in Seattle. Those were big time games in must win situations. The Ravens sold out to hold him catch-less the final week (in a bad weather game too), but whatever. He seemed fairly clutch in those games last year. Granted, we need him to do that again and more this year.... but hard to say he hasn't been a little bit clutch already.

Teams do look at stats, but they also look at the obvious to how a player was used.
