If the Steelers don’t add a WR soon I may end up getting two 5ths. Their names are Jack and Jim.

 

Perfect time to add a WR. heading into a bye week with ample time to get aclimated.

 

I guess all those drops against the Browns got the Ravens to make a move.

 

Slayton probably won't be available until after next week, when the Giants play the Commanders. If the Giants lose, time to burn it down.
Ridley's price went up after last week- 10 catches for 143 yards. Almost doubling his production for the year.

Exactly the Steelers have draft capital to make a trade, I get why not rush but at this point the NFL trade deadline is next Tuesday, waiting any longer doesn't make sense at this point. Darius Slayton is the best candidate, Young, explosive, locker room guy, and on a cheap contract that we can easily re-sign at 17 - 18 million per year next year.

 

Yeah Ravens adding DJ doesn't make me feel good.

I was thinking we were good and just needed some insurance in case of injury... now I think we need to find someone that really moves the needle for us.

 

I’m hoping they will give Dylan Cook a shot at RT. They seem to really like him.

 

Agreed, I posted in the injury thread that Dylan Cook has been practicing since Oct 18th, when they opened his 21 Day window to be placed on the 53 man roster, or IR's for the rest of the season.

 

Ravens is a good place for him. Not at all worried about DJ playing for the turds

 

I wasn't posting it for the Steelers just that he was available to other teams.

 

Ridley just signed a 4 year 92 million contract this past offseason, pass on him.

 

Isn't amazing how guys always end up back in our division with motivation to beat us. How come this guy didn't end up in Seattle or something. Never fails!!

 

Teams are getting these receivers without giving up first or second round picks, that's why Khan needs to make a move can't count on Roman Wilson to contribute much this season.

 

He's the only reason that Daniel Jones is even half a$$Ed. If He wasn't the coach Jones would be much worse IMO

 

The NFC west is wide open at this point, Seattle could very well finish last, but I doubt they sell out when there is still an opportunity.

 

Seattle is in playoff contention and Metcalf got injured a week ago.

 

I think they're stuck with Jones at RT, it's hard to get a decent OL in a trade especially this time of the season.

 

I'd imagine that is closer to happening given Broderick's struggles. He has had a season to forget thus far. I am not sure what has happened to him honestly. He was my favorite Steelers pick since Ryan Shazier; one that I had held in high regard as well. His Rookie season proved he could play.


Thing is, he hasn't unseated the likes of Dan Moore. For that matter, Troy Fautanu being hurt isn't doing Mike Tomlin, Omar Khan, AR II or anyone in the Steelers Organization any favors either. The issue is two fold; Broderick Jones is not capable of being a starting tackle while Broderick Jones isn't playing his correct position anyways. If anything, at this point, it is fair to question whether a positional switch will do much of anything to help Broderick Jones at this point.


The only other option is for Dylan Cook to surpass him and become the new starting Right Tackle. Will Dylan be able to do it?! Who knows?!... but it is better to see what Dylan can do should Broderick continue this horrific performances week in and week out.
