Muth has to be able to get more separation in order for that to happen, which is not exactly his forte. Believe me, if Muth is open, Russ will find him.

Add Justin Fields and Russell Wilson to the list.

So far.... Fautanu can't get back soon enough and Dan Moore is a keeper.

I never thought I would post this... but Dan Moore is our best OL and he is playing very well. Frazier is damn good, too.... and he's been missed. Steelers are gonna have to sign Moore in the offseason if he keeps this up. And it would be a good investment.

I think Beanie's coverage has improved lately like when he got that first interception off of Aaron Rodgers, they should probably ease Sutton into the defense. My concern is how rusty Sutton is going to be if he's just handed the job.

Yes hell of an individual effort by Harris and poor tackling technique by the player he lept over. That pitch play did gain a first down but not sure it was a successful play call or the culmination of three things happening at the right time. By and large the number of pitch plays called vs success of the play showed it wasn't their best play call. They were having more success from Harris and Warren just pounding it inside or between the guard and tackle. Late in the game those runs got harder as the giants dline began to get a big push and slow Harris in the backfield.

I think Muth had only 2 targets and got 2 catches. Not near enough touches. Especially in the red zone. Also did see on a few plays he was open and had some separation. But Wilson passed to 11.

I think someone posted Sutton has been practicing with the team but it’s been a while since he has been in a game

I suspect they will divide reps and see what they got

Sutton could be rusty but It was a much bigger concern with Wilson at the QB position that Sutton will be at the slot CB position. In the long run Sutton is going to help us in coverage

Moore, Semalou, Frazier, McCormick, Futanu feels pretty good to me...may have butchered some of that spelling.

It depends on which Sutton they're getting, the old Steelers Sutton or the Detroit Sutton where he was terrible.

With Detroit,he was outside and he was often against the best receiver in man situation of the other team

When Fields is healthy again, he really needs to be used inside the 10 yard line. He has 5 rushing TD's and we really miss his running threat near the goal line.

I said all week that the Defense front was scary. I'd take Dexter Lawrence in a minute.

I guess nobody remembers when our punter was taken out this year, and no flag.

Number 9 to me is baffling, he just looks like he doesn't care. We may need Cook at RT or trade for one, seriously.

It's upsetting at times,,but we have to give him more time. You gotta give at least 3 years .

Teams don't make adjustments during the bye week. Not enough time. They just take a piss and grab an apple.:rawk:

    12. This game reminded me once again how much we need Pickens to have a real threat to throw. He made a key grab when we needed it and the thought popped in my head: "Damn, we are going to have to pay him."

The Steelers have allowed only 20pts or fewer in 7 of 8 games.

Steelers Special Teams is responsible for 91 of teams 187 total points.

They seemed to be using Sutton a lot at free safety in the preseason, for what that's worth.
