THE Official Steelers vs. Giants Game Thread

The difference is the Steelers are a good team and the Giants are not.

I hear this logic all the time. It’s just noise. Each game is different. We’ll play the Ravens and see what happens.

I'm certainly relieved we won the game but it is concerning that our defense allowed a terrible Giants offense march up and down the field all game on us. Especially when you see the gauntlet of QB's we have coming after us in the second half.

Did I say the defense can't stop the Ravens or any of the teams ahead of them? No. I did not. I simply said the defense has some work to do. They have to tighten things up. I don't know how anybody could watch that game tonight and think otherwise.

Great win. Things to work on and things to build on. Get healthy and hit the second half of the season.

 

I wasn’t planning to give them good field position I was planning to make the two yards and the game is over without giving them the ball at all

Why give them the ball if you are in control of it

I spend my life playing to win and I realize that doesn’t work for all or most people but it has worked well for me

Probably because others tend to play it safe

Of course we need to play better. We won the game which is the objective. These games aren’t going to be perfection. Look around the league. How often do you see a team play lights out every week? You’re chasing a fantasy.

I've seen them blow a chance to go a game up when given the opportunity a few times.They have a rest and heal period now with the division lead. A great night in my personal estimation no matter what spin is taken from it. They did what they had to against an NFL opponent. I'm not worried about them in the meantime.If they stink it up against the Commanders then revisit. 6-2 with all the changes in the offseason pretty darn good I think. To all a good night!
