THE Official Steelers vs. Giants Game Thread

Man we got an airshow here next weekend, Thunderbirds and Blue Angels flying together. Doesn't happen often will be awesome!

 

People......Yards don't win games. Points do. No team this year in the NFL that has played 8 games has given up less points,,but Hey . LoL

 

Does not being the Defense that has given up the league least amount of points with any team that has played 8 games mean nothing???

 

Any win is a good win

 

They covered the spread of -6, and you're complaining they only won by 8 .

 

And if I do the game is over and they don’t touch the ball

sorry ya disliked brother Glenn. Only part I miss back there is I’d be headed to bed by 9 for a 5 am wake up as opposed midnight hahahahahaha

It was. They did nothing to stop the Giants on two of the final three drives of the game. The Giants stopped themselves with the drop by Nabers and a terrible throw by Jones on the interception. The Giants' offense stinks, but they got 394 yards on the Steelers tonight. I don't know how anybody watches the game tonight and isn't concerned about the way the defense played.

Watt was great. Highsmith was great. Fitzpatrick made one huge play, but otherwise had a bad night. So did the corners. Remember, the Giants nearly went 93 yards to tie the game in less than two minutes without the running back who gouged the Steelers all night. That's not good.

 

We can win 1000-0 and some will still whine… why didn’t we score 1001 points

 

Some people refuse to acknowledge a problem when they see it.

I'm very happy right now. I'm loving that the Steelers have a competent offense. They blew some opportunities tonight, but they got the job done. I'm just concerned by what we saw from the defense aside from Watt and Highsmith.

Maybe they were saving them in case the Giants scored with time remaining, but they got very lucky that Jones threw a bad ball on a play with both Watt and Highsmith out of the game.

Imagine how good we would be if we had even an ounce of creativity on defense.

You do realize they needed the Giants to stop themselves on two of those late drives, right?

 

I could say the same about every game played. Hell we stopped ourselves from scoring 3 more tds.......would have could have. If I would have stayed with My 1st wife. I wouldn't have to work, but I didn't. Would have could have means nothing. LoL

 

What problem? Do you watch other games? No one is lights out every week. Other teams get paid to play also.

 

If the defense plays like this against the Ravens, they will give up 40 points easily. Hell, the Commanders could light them up. I'm thrilled with the win, but they have some work to do during the bye.
