I have heard Myers name mentioned in trade rumors, he can probably be had for a mid-round pick.

i say wait and see what patterson can do when he get's back. see what russell can do with him. use scotty miller, use isabella, use the guys you have in house. we will need some of these draft picks down the road instead of a half season rental.

 

It's beginning to look like that may be our only option. Maybe Mike Williams from the Jets for a 7th, because both our 6th and 4th our tied up.

Patterson is a running back. He was never a particularly good wide receiver. He isn't going to move the needle much. The guys the Steelers have in house aren't good. Miller hasn't been playing much lately. There is a reason for that. Isabella was on the scrap heap. Nobody bothered to have him on a roster. There is a reason for that.

Sure, the Steelers can use those draft picks down the line, but they think they can win now. That becomes much more likely if they can find a legitimate No. 2 receiver for Wilson. That player is not on the roster.

 

What about Meyers with the raiders....Not a star,but I think he is still decent as number 2

 

Meyers would make sense. So would Slayton. The market got even thinner with Kirk's injury. Khan messed up by not fixing this in the offseason. He messed up by waiting this long.

 

Myers or Slayton are probably the best options right now.

 

I think people are running around looking in other teams trash cans
