Interesting stat

In the points for, points against difference, the Steelers are in 4th.

Redskins at +66
Bills at +63
Lions at +62
Steelers at +60

Not so honorable mention
Panthers at -133

Not a stat position I would have guessed.

 

I know people kind of lose their mind about our defence at times but the opposition are averaging less than 15 ppg. You've always got a chance if that's the case.

 

Last 3 year,they were in negative in this stats and it was not close.Far better team this year!

 

We have not allowed a point in the third quarter this year.

Raiders and Jets games. Steelers racking up the points. We've seen this before with All Pro WR, RB and HOF QB. Roethlisberger threw 12 TDs total vs. Colts and Ravens in 2014. Steelers then go to the horrific Jets and lose. Beware.

 

It was nice to get a breather from the raiders and Jets games, my heart needed it, but at the end of the season the only stat I really care about is each game at the end says more for us than them, lol.

 

Exactly.....We are actually number 1 in points allowed. The only teams that have less....haven't played as many games as we have. That's why I snicker every time I hear someone complain. Not one thing on Defense matters more than points given up.

 

Plus we've played and beaten Jets, Chargers and Broncos who are three other top 8 (or top 10 can't remember full statement I saw) defences in the NFL in terms of ppg.
