Well I mean, I much prefer having 2 NFL starting caliber QB's this season as opposed to the alternative.... Which is of course the last two seasons having 0 NFL starting caliber QB's

If we can't beat the Ravens during regular season, we don't get very far in the playoffs.

We are entering the second half at 6-2. That 3 game stretch with Eagles, Ravens and Chiefs is tough as hell. I don't understand why we have to play the Eagles in Philly since we just played them there a few years ago.

Who really understands the NFL scheduling? The last two seasons the Steelers had to play the Colts and Raiders on the road.

Based on our 2024 schedule, I'm not sure even the NFL understands its scheduling. I am sure its all done via algorithm, but they need to update the code a bit lol

Why did those bastards screw the Steelers in the second half of the season, with all of those division games being backloaded?

Someone suggested it was because of HBO and Hard Knocks doing the entire AFC North

I hope the Eagles beat the Bengals this week and drop them to 3-5. I don't want the Bengals to reach 4-4 and get hot for the rest of the season.

It's BS! 6 division games plus playing two teams that could meet in the SB.

Most fans assumed that was the reason but one of those NFL guys said the scheduling wasn't intentional in an interview, that guy and the NFL is full of crap.

Hopefully the Browns will be in tank mode, so the Steelers can get two easy wins. Then they need to at least split with the Ravens and Bengals.

Injuries can happen in any given week and change the entire trajectory of the team.

E.g a Watt injury usually spells losses. Wilson injury during the divisional stretch likely spells losses.

    Just sayin....

That's the sad thing, after years of skidding into the playoffs and losing the first game badly, or worse yet settling for no-losing record, its hard to get really excited about what might happen. I'm with born2steel, take the next game and see what develops going into the bye. Despite the injuries there is room for some optimism, even facing the bombardment of a schedule ahead, but no way I am ready to proclaim things that are not there. This O is still untested and not proven, as is Russ with this O, could go well, could return to suck. Giants are next, I will enjoy that game.
