That record is all the more reason to make a move to improve the team rather than leaving that player, who came cheap, to another contender.

I honestly think we can make a run, and the Qb is the most important part, but if we can get another wr at the right price(that's the key factor) I'd do it.....if for no other reason than if Pickens goes down....we are in serous $hit....because the guys we have maybe good for a 2, and 3 spot.....I don't believe we have anyone to even come close to a 1st spot

 

Any team can say that about their 1 wr… lets cross that bridge if it ever comes

A lot of teams have a 2 that could be a one. We did last year. We have most years, and the trade deadline doesn't last all year. No I didn't want Brandon A, or D Hop. ...., I've stated that many times, but I do want a guy that could slide into the 1st if needed, or forced to. Right now we have nobody to do that if it did happen. Will be many teams out of it in a few more games that will be looking to dump players.
I truly believe this offense doesn't need a great number 2, but it needs a good number 1, and we only have one guy that can do that. I don't know about you, but I've watched Wrs go down every week so far this year. I don't want our season shot if that happens to us.

Don't count the Bengals out yet. I still think 3 team from our division will be in the playoffs.

 

Lets see what wr will step up… plus we got Muth and Mt Washington…Russ got them into the game last week.
Plus, don’t know if you noticed, Russ forced defense to quit stacking the LOS. Me and you talked about this. This definitely helps the running game

Agreed with everything you said, but if Pickens goes down we have nobody to step into the number 1 wrs spot.....not even for a few games...., and You can say wait , and see, but the trade deadline only last so long. They don't have to be as good as Pickens, but they must be better than what we have. Yes I believe they will look better with Russell, but Hell I'd look better with Russell. I'm actually excited for this year, and I'd hate to see it all go down the tubes because Pickens went down

 

How many times in your life has the Steelers wheeled and dealed for a trade before the deadline? Bet it would all fit on one hand.

 

Remember a good qb makes wr look good too… saying that, it was Only 1 game. I still dont trust either or qb on our roster.

 

Look at DHops numbers this year with poor qb play… 1 td in 6 games

 

Well I can count on one hand the amount of times the Steelers had this little of wrs also. So.....

This is the 1st time since then that I feel that confident. I don't want that to stop us again. We are covered at RB by a mixture of RBs if that happens, but not at Wr if that happens again

 

We did fine and then some last year? We averaged less than 18 points per game, 28th in the league. Got trounced again in the playoffs. In any case, really really sick of doing fine.
