You do see the difference in value between Hopkins and Van Jefferson, right?

I get your point. But why give up picks for an over the hill wr? Van Jefferson had a td pass last game! You actually had a qb that threw the ball to a lot of different receivers last game.
    Plus, we are 5-2.

This is true and can happen at anytime. You are not satisfied with the receiving core from the last game?
Same guy who i want Aiyuk I want Adams now probably want injury prone Kupp:facepalm:
At Thanksgiving, when we go around the table and state what we are thankful for mine will be:

The defense got this team to 5-2. The lack of a second receiver has been dragging the offense down all season. That Jefferson randomly caught one touchdown against a secondary that had been decimated by injuries does not change that problem. By the time he caught that touchdown the Jets were one more injury away from having to line up a receiver in the secondary. Jefferson is a veteran who has one season that he was good enough to be among a team's top three receivers and that was four years ago. More recently, he was on the scrap heap for a reason.

I agree, not arguing that at all. Also, agree defense is the main reason we are 5-2.
In all fairness, the offense looked the best it has all year in the Jets game. You talk of a defense being depleted, explain the egg the offense laid in the Cowboys game?
17 points? No Parsons no Lawrence a terrible secondary?

I'm not familiar with the offense that struggled to score a TD until this week. Call me- not impressed.

    Haven’t traded for any.

People keep saying we aren’t a player away but we aren’t in a rebuild either. They have an elite defense with the best player in the league on it and just pissing away his career.

They are riding with Wilson because Tomlin said it himself, hes not trying to win games, he’s trying to win championships. If you are going to sit Fields and put his development on the back burner then ya gotta try and improve the WR room.

Van Jefferson also dropped an easy TD pass early in the game. Van Jefferson is a good 3, a great 4, but a terrible 2. Darius Slayton is the WR I want. 27 years old, proven Vet, cheap contract and a great locker room guy.

Relying on a rookie taken in the third round to be the No. 2 receiver is foolish.

I give up than. Lets sign a 32 yr old for 30 mil a year, is that better?
Did you or did you not watch the game against the Jets? Say all you want about a decimated Jets secondary, Cowboys were equally horrible.
At least for one game, it looked like we had an offense. I honestly believe we can hopefully make a run with the wrs we have instead of giving away draft picks like they were candy

We can win by 100pts… Wilson throw 10 td passes and it is never enough to some.
The madness of picking up over 30 wrs and one that was still on a rookie contract and now is hurt is just cray cray

But taking AB in the 6rd paid off…draft is hit n miss you know this. But still the cheapest way to build a team, not spending outrageous amounts of money on pieces that maybe here a year or two

I do realize we live in an age of right now i want it . Also, the PlayStation era

This is what I believe as well. I don't think it's coincidental that all of a sudden Jefferson scores a TD and RW is throwing to him. Justin was not throwing to Jefferson ever.

They haven't played the tough part of their schedule yet, Art ll said he wanted to win playoff games. They should go get more help at WR to increase their chances of winning in the playoffs.

Clown, I already posted that I wasn't interested in Kupp for a second round pick . I'm thankful you aren't the Steelers GM, otherwise they would have a scrub like Rattler at backup QB .

Rattler will be way better than Fields come his 4 year. Also, Clown, Rattler didnt have his top 2 wrs last game and a very porous offensive line.
But you being a football guru you should’ve known this. Southern Cal sucks while we are at it. Sure do wish the real USC played yall this season… easy win

    This is funny :lolol:

Just remember, if you are bashing Rooney as owner of the team, it can always be worse.
