That is pretty much what I wrote on the Hopkins thread. I do not understand what Khan is thinking, not only missing on the receiver the team has needed since he traded Johnson, but allowing him to go to the Chiefs. Hell, I wouldn't have even minded if it was a five that could become a three.

Apparently Hopkins had a no trade clause

Maybe that influenced where he went

Kupp contract is the issue. Rams would have to eat a lot of it this year and then kupp restructure for next year.

He isn’t even available. It takes two to tango. Be a little more realistic.

Pittsburgh isn’t necessarily the most attractive place to come if you are a wide receiver. We aren’t fully settled at QB and our offensive isn’t exactly receiver friendly. I can understand why we have not been able to sign any of the WR’s that were on the trade market. In their opinion they all had better options. If Krupp doesn’t want to come here all he has to do is not negotiate on next years salary. I think the best option is probably Williams as he only really has one option with the Chargers and he may or may not be miffed with them. Obviously he does have relationships in that building and with the QB but it all depends on how he feels about their coaching staff. I still would prefer Quirk because he is more of a long term answer. Any of these other guys is strictly a short term rental and I hate giving up draft capital for a rental.

Gee, it is those little things that we blame Omar. I have no idea what if anything happened, but the desperation and outrage shown on this board is laughable. Dude said he would have even traded a 3rd rounder for a 32 yo 10 week rental, that may help the team get a PO win. There is a time when a team may go all in, this team has not reached that time.

The healthiest WR the 49ers have was shot in the chest 2 months ago.

Except they aren't going to trade Puka, he's their best player on offense.

Khan should call Green Bay they have 4-5 decent receivers; Doubs wasn't happy with his role earlier this season. Or try to trade for Courtland Sutton from Denver.

The Steelers had two viable starting wide receivers. Khan traded one and didn't replace him, this time not only missing out on a player who would be a fantastic fit, but also watching him go to another AFC contender.

Also, what I wrote was that I wouldn't have minded a five that could become a three, but those conditions would only be met if Hopkins provided high value. You may wish to read posts more carefully before you mock then next time.

The Packers are contenders. I'm not sure they would be trading off their players.

The same is true of the Broncos, who have on four of their last five games.

Dude. I like the idea, but I watch him in the other summer leagues, and He looked done. He also was picked up by I believe the Cowboys, and let go this year

I don't even think the Pirates would take Quirk at this point. He's 70 years old.

The Packers are contenders who knew , guys can still be unhappy about their role and getting enough targets and ask for a trade. The Broncos aren't real playoff contenders Nix is too inconsistent.

I read it carefully, the point being you seem to think Omar can snap his fingers and the rest of the league will jump to please HIM. No trade clause or not, a player can still refuse to show up to a team if he does not want to go (AB to the Bills bring back memories), and any GM who trades for, or drafts someone to simply keep him from another team is a fool. Neither you nor I know of the conversations (if any) that may have taken place, out 4th is already on lock down on conditions for Fields. We have heard Omar has placed feelers out to different teams, the results of which has lead to nothing. So either no interest, or the cost is too high. Should it have been addressed earlier, likely has been, but it did not work out, oh well.

I don't think the Broncos would help Wilson if they can help it. We need to be looking at teams that are virtually out of it. IMO
