Dude I was going to do this two days ago, a different tune, but the same Idea, and I got caught up in everything else, and forgot. I hope He's pulling through.

This is the song I was going to use. Why the laughter??? You hope he doesn't pull through??? He was shot what...3, or 4 times. Anyway this was the 1st time I heard of him, and I was an instant fan.

Agreed. I also always dug the tone, and bass line behind the lead in this tune. Boy You can definitely hear the 80s touches on this album. I don't know if I ever noticed that before.

 

Ignore is a nightmare. Makes the threads hard to follow.

 

Alex Van Halen just released a song he and Eddie were working on before Eddie died. It actually sounds a little more David Gilmour-ish, especially at the beginning.

I still must listen again, but the 1st time I heard it ....it really reminded me of something I've heard before.

 

It absolutely reminds me of Louder Than Words on Pink Floyd's last album, The Endless River. At the beginning, Eddie sounds very David Gilmour-ish.

 

Speaking of David Gilmour.

 

Outside of Metallicas Ride the Lightning....this album(this is just one tune from it) was one of My favorites in High school.
