When you see TJ and Cam out on the kick block team, and JPJ blocking on punt return, you know he's using everyone everywhere.
Oh, and that call on Minkah was BS.

Danny Smith always has our ST's in good positions to make big plays. That dumb penalty on the extra point should be a challenge opportunity. If points are directly affected on an obvious bad call then the red flag should come into play.

Not only the blocked kicks. I don’t recall any penalties on kick returns, and the coverage on kicks has been good. And, of course, Boz is great, and the punting has been good enough. The whole unit is impressive.

The Special team units has been awesome this year best one I think the Steelers ever have.

Multiple blocked FG's and kicks, I think one punt.

Calvin almost took one to the house, and when they do kick it short they get down there and tackle well.

Corliss Waitman has been punting well, and Boswell has been complete money.

Special teams is important it costed Cleveland against the Bengals yesterday.

Kicker missed a FG and an extra point, and they gave up a kickoff return for a TD.

In a game they lost by 7.

Only because there's no where else to post this, and it's special teams related:
Waitman vs. Kuntz, punter vs long snapper.

    Didn't have the right players?

Players weren't doing the right thing?

His body was taken over by an alien special teams guru?

It only take 12 years to Danny Smith to put good special team with the steelers!

Of course the punter problem in the last few years was not his fault but it was not the only problem of this unit in the past

I don't think you're alone on that. I don't know about wanting him fired but I do know at times I haven't loved his coverage or return teams. Give up big plays with very few of our own.

He can get some dudes to block the hell outta some kicks though!

He can teach them, but He can't fire them. That would have to go through.....Tomlin, the GM, and the owner.

Sure but you make that sound difficult

If a player isn’t good and a coordinator or position coach recommends letting him go why would Tomlin object

I doubt the owner would ever say no way Jose
