No pre-snap penalties versus the Jets

Heard on Steeler nation radio today that the Steelers didn’t have any pre-snap penalties this week. Just another reason why it’s good to have a veteran quarterback under center.

 

Plus Moe Larry and Curly on the right have been improving

We might even have a decent OL next year

 

the line played pretty good. mccullom did a really good job. mccormick is looking good. seumalo is getting back in the swing of things. the guards and interior played well. good to see. as they play together they should get better or continue to get better together. not bad for the injuries we had and the thrown together line. now i haven't heard any praise for the o-line coach but that doesn't surprise me.

 

Pat Meyer needs to get credit for coaching these guys up

And to make matters worse my wife who was adopted did one of those dna tests and found out all of her relatives are from one little holler in West Virginia seriously

She gets really pissed when I start mouthing the banjo tune from Deliverance

 

When you met her relatives did one of them tell you that you "Sure had a purty mouth?"

 

She has decided to leave we’ll enough alone and has not attempted to contact any kinfolk

That’s hard to believe with how bad the officiating was throughout the game. It is also very impressive for this new group of players. Dan Moore Jr has been playing very well which is incredible for how long it took him to get it together.

 

Would’ve been worse if you found out you were related.

 

Is Dan Moore going to play himself into a contract? If Jones doesn't improve, I can definitely see the Steelers bringing Moore back next year .

 

He’s been playing solidly the last few games. I don’t even think he has had a penalty in about 4 games now.

 

WV. I kind of grew up along the 79 corridor, Clarksburg, Fairmont, Weston area.. I wound up there when my mother and dad divorced - he went to Dormagen, Germany and she went to WV, which forever opened up the never-ending jokes, like the gem - "They only teach drivers ED two days a week. The other 3 days the mule is in sex Ed." and such.

My previous life was in Pittsburgh, McKeesport to be exact. Quite a change.

I use the phrase "grew up' very loosely. 2 of my High School Years, and then from I can remember, I think it was WVU for 4. I thought I was majoring in beer drinking but it turns out I have a Business degree - Imagine my surprise. I would later attend Texas A&M for a more proper degree.
