Najee's shown that he is good for about 2-3 good games per season. Now, in year's past those good games generally come in weeks 17 and 18 (only do evaporate completely in time for the playoff games), but maybe this year's not the case. The Raiders game was his best as a pro and he followed it up with another good one last night. I hope he continues to play well and he didn't blow a season's worth of good games this early.

Big difference last night but a small sample size. Wilson was in control of the offense and settled in nicely after shaking off the rust. His touch passes were the difference. The offensive line is going to need to protect him better, mobility will be an issue. Fields needs to stay involved, I am afraid with our line Wilson is going take some hits and going to be a long 2nd half of the season. All division games are left to be played.

It’s ok, shooting your load early is a problem some men face. I’ll let you know when he’s reached the moment of proving he is still capable.

He and the team got a win yesterday. Fields and the team have 4.

He's done IMO. Had a very good run, but @ nearly 41 yrs. old, it's time to hang up the cleats.

I’m starting to think someone hacked your account bro. This stuff certainly doesn’t sound like what I’m used to hearing from you.

They absolutely did but it was game 1 for him as a Steeler. I really believe he'll get better. He still has game and the desire to win from what I saw last night. Some of those catches were Swann like last night.

Your are right but talk about bursting my bubble. I didn't even think that way. We have 6 games against our rivals. Screw Cleveland, barring major injuries we'll smoke em twice. At the moment I don't fear the Bengals like I did but them damn Ravens......

I won't guess on his HOF potential, his years in Seattle alone with 2 SBs and one win would likely be enough, the years in Denver did tarnish it a bit, but even those stats (except teams w/l record) are not really that bad (exception 2022). I think if he stays healthy and the team gets to the PO's, wins a game it may re-establish him in the eyes of some who vote in the future. I had forgotten how good he was in his stint in Seattle, not saying his play will be that good, but his play last night showed he still has skills, will be interesting to watch.

In Seattle, Russ had similar success as Flacco had - throw up a prayer and hope for a PI call.

It is debatable what Wilson has left (although we will find out), but at the height of both of their careers, Flacco was not Wilson’s equal.

I meant the PI prayer throws were similar. having lived in Seattle for 25 years...pretty familiar with his career.

steel machine I’m hoping for 6-2 bye and then wow, hopefully 4 or 5 wins in our last 9 games. 10-7 or 11-6 should get us in. I see loses at Baltimore, KC, Washington and Cincy. Eagles at Philly is always tough. I hope I’m wrong and want to see how Russ improves but man was a good first game.

They are just as good as they ever were and the raspberry ones are like crack to me.

They are unfortunately lumped in with Reese’s eggs, fettuccini Alfredo, and hostess cherry pies on the “no fly” list my doctor and my wife have conspired to create.

Being “in control of the offense” is the most important thing. Russ can process what’s happening and consistently find the open guy. We were not getting that with Fields. If we could pull a Frankenstein and put Russ’ football IQ into Fields, we’d have the league’s best QB. But if we can only have one leading the offense on the field, I would bank on Russ shaking off physical rust quicker than Fields having the game slow down for him enough to lead a playoff run this year.
