I guess Jones got benched against the Eagles today, their starting LT is out for the season. This is a home game for MNF where the Steelers haven't lost since the 90s. This is a good opportunity to get to 6-2 before the bye week.

Last time the steelers have lost a MNF at home was also vs Giants back in 1991.It would be a major disappointment if the Steelers don't win this game.

We will get to 6-2 before break. Two weeks to enjoy and dream until the nasty part of schedule.

I hate to say it, but this game has Tomlin stinker written all over it.

My family said "trap" game coming up before the Jets game was over. I do not believe that this year. We are beating the Giants. Now the other 2 teams in that division I'm not so sure about.

Yea I was thinking that same thing about the Giants game in 91 they lost on Monday night at home. I don’t see this Giants team being the team to end that streak next week. Don’t want to overlook anybody but I expect the Steelers to take care of business and get to 6-2 at the bye. This Steelers team is in a great spot right now playoff position wise in the AFC with their current 4-1 conference record and tiebreakers against teams like Broncos and the Chargers. Still a long way to go but if you can get to 6-2 next week going into the bye it would almost take a complete collapse the last 9 games for the Steelers to not make the playoffs.

I don't know about that, the last 9 games are brutal. Redskins, Ravens and Bengals twice, Eagles and Chiefs. Even the Browns are now improved with Watson out for the year and Jameis Winson in at QB.

Has that mattered before? I've documented the popcorn egg lays since 2014... against teams much worse than Giants are right now.

    These are the games...........

If you go 4-5 and get to 10 wins that should be enough especially with head to head tiebreakers over the Broncos and Chargers. Denver has to go 7-3 the rest of the way to win 11 games which I don’t see them doing, and the Chargers have to go 8-4 to win 11 games which is what it would take for both of those teams to get in over the Steelers if they win 10 games which I think they will do at the very least. I know the Colts are 4-3 and own the head to head over the Steelers but I don’t see them getting to 10 wins. Maybe 8 or 9 at the most. So 4-5 isn’t a complete collapse but you better at least be able to do that to get to 10 wins the last 9 games of the season. So again they are in very good shape to get in if they beat the Giants and get to 6-2.

I don't think it will happen this time the Giants had like 120 yards of offense and gave up 8 sacks to the Eagles. That Steelers defense is going to eat :hehehe:.

I have said the exact same thing way too many times over the years. Every time it seems like the Steelers can't possibly lose, they come out flat and put up a dud.

I watched that entire game yesterday, and they made an Eagle's defense that is not that good look like the 85 Bears. I haven't looked yet, but I'm guessing we're favored by a touchdown. With Highsmith and Watt going they don't have a prayer of protecting Jones.

I’m hoping with the new energy with Wilson at QB it has lit a fire under Pickens and others this will not occur. If this game was on the road I’d be more concerned. However I remember AZ & NE last year and the thought is always there.
