Brady was better today. I didn't even notice it was him when they had the audio of that game on so he was more normal. Didn't have any real insights though.

 

after a week of everyone and their mother questioning the decision to switch QBs, it'll be interesting to see how the talking heads spin this.

I thought it was a mistake to switch from the QB who led the team to a 4-2 record but that is why I am sitting on the couch watching on TV and Tomlin is making millions coaching the team.

When I watch YouTube later on, no doubt there will be a deluge of videos telling everyone how smart Tomlin is. That plus hype jobs saying we are a big threat now to win it all to get views and those hypesters make money.

So silly. We have a long way to go to fix our weaknesses.

IMO, we have not played a good/above average team yet. Good thing the schedule front loaded us the easier teams in the first half of the season. If Wilson pans out and does not get injured, maybe we can win at least 10 or 11 games this year.

Same here I think Romo came in and nailed it right off the bat. I don't think brady is ever going to be the "Star" announcer they paid him to be, especially now that he can't do what other announcers do routinely.

 

I think Fields is the future but he isnt quite there yet.

 

Not the way things were going. Why would you throw your back-up QB out there on gimmick plays when you're trying to build some continuity with your starter? Then when they started rolling late there was no reason to!

Now, as a Steelers fan I know there's a real possibility the wheels fall off next week. So, Im going to enjoy this win today, and go back to expecting the worst tomorrow hahaha.

 

Forget gimmick plays. Use Fields in short yardage.

 

That's a gimmick play to me when you bring in your Back-up QB to run them.

They need to build something in short yardage with the normal personnel on the field.

 

I thought they could've used Fields legs in those goal to go situations.

 

Probably early, but I think you really need to find out what you can do with your regular packages before you resort to that.
