He grew a lot this year and that was just 6 games. I obviously think they are making a terrible mistake but it is what it is. Wilson let it out of the bag he is starting on Sunday.

Are you Doubling down on tonight's game against the Broncos for another 250 yard performance?

Can’t be any worse than Fields use of him and Muth does seem to have a pretty good rapport with Russ, he seems to be his biggest fan on the team. Hopefully they can connect on the field.

In order for us to get 250 yards passing, I think Russ is going to have to go over 300 yards in the air. I think we're in for a 6+ sack game with Wilson back there with our OL in the state that its in against a team that has had success sacking the passer.

So yeah, I think 250 is pretty optimistic. I would consider Wilson playing to Fields level to be a massive win in this scenario. Lots of rust to shake off and the Jets defense is going to be pinning its ears back on an old guy coming off his second injury of the year. Our offensive roster is pretty garbage right now with all the injuries.... I'm just hoping he doesn't turn it over and ends the game healthy.

I will bet You real money my friend. If our Special teams, and Defense does exactly what they have on every single game we have won this year. We win no matter who the Qb is.

Why be mean. I don't think He's annoying. I think He overly positive (which I like), and likes things organized. Nothing bad . It's like I go back, and forth with @Blast Furnace, and @Formerscribe ,,but I still like both of them. I don't have to agree with people to like, and respect them. Just like Yourself....We don't agree at all about the HCs, but I like You a lot.

Here you go again quoting me and butting in.
Blast is a big boy and he can handle his own business. He doesn’t need a goof like you to fight his battles for him. Besides my statement wasn’t necessary directed solely at him. It was more of a general observation.

He's always done that, but to throw. I'm not saying it will work. I'm saying I don't want to find out in week 14 in when it maybe to late to matter. I swear I will root for whomever takes the Field. Even as I have everytime I see T. Edmunds out there this year. LoL. I just want to see. I do Honestly believe this. If the Defense, and special teams do exactly what they have in every win we've had this year....we can win with either Qb....

Not so sure about that. If Pickett were still QB I’m not sure we win some of these games without Fields legs.

If he grew so much, why is it you can make a good argument that his last two games were his worst two as a passer?

How does that negate the growth he has shown? Again, growth and improvement doesnt not mean perfect. Mahomes makes errant passes, too. Come on man.

I wrote nothing that indicated I was expecting perfection or anything close to it, so I'm not sure where you came up with that. I'm pointing out that during this season when you say he is showing growth, I see him regressing the last two weeks. He just had his worst game against a terrible defense. That's not growth.

Also, I'm not so sure he has grown at all. He has still had trouble with fumbles. He still throws late too often. He still seems to struggle with reading defenses. He still relies too much on his legs. Are the interceptions down because he learned something or because the Steelers are so damn conservative? The latter seems more likely. Look at this past game. He threw an ugly interception that was wiped out by a penalty. Then there was the time he lost the line of scrimmage to wipe out what would have been a touchdown to Freiermuth. Keep in mind that even Fields said throwing that ball was a mistake.

I dont like run heavy Qb’s. I’ll admit. They usually lack in the passing department and end up getting beat up and injured more than pocket passers from all the hits. Even Steve Youngs career, as good as a passer he was, except for maybe a couple seasons started to miss alot of games due to concussions and injury.
