Not sure this to top post worthy, but a short just came across my you tube and it just reinforced how bad the Brownies have it.

I guess the guy had a Browns YT channel and he said after the season the Browns may seek a team with massive Cash room and offer their 1st round pick if the team would take Watson off their hands, lmao

I think Watson has a no trade clause and that would be insane, but can you imagine just how desperate they are, hell 3 1st rounders to get him, now how may to get rid of him, lol.

If they cut him it costs $176M in dead cap money. Insanely bad contract.

The only team I could see doing this and who have the cap space is Las Vegas since they are already a dumpster fire. I am guessing the Perv wouldn't mind access to the young women Vegas has to offer to void his no trade clause.

More likely is cutting him after next year as post-June 1st.

With the move they did this year to push all that money back into future years and save $60 million, I was just kind of thinking they were hoping the NFL would get them out of this contract by giving Watson a suspension. The Browns get to roll the $60 million cap savings this year into next year to give them the extra cap space in 2025.

Their is a clause in his contract with the Browns, that if there are other victims out there that were not revealed to the Browns when he signed his contract the guaranteed money becomes void. The Browns pushed all that money back when that new victim filed a lawsuit this summer.

Good move by the Browns not to decide on this new victim. If Watson plays great this season, they say nothing, if Watson does not play good, like he is, they can void the contract and get their money back.

My best friend was a Browns fan. He has to be looking down from heaven thinking that team is hell.

That ship may have sailed. That lawsuit was pulled and settled confidentially, if there are no charges and the deal on that settlement is keep your mouth shut or lose the money, then it is as if none of this ever happened, the Browns only have hearsay.

One of the guests on Dan Patrick gave this as a likely scenario, even if he was traded the Browns would still be on the hook for a lot of dead cap, if a team was crazy enough to take the bait I would ask the same deal it cost to get him, 3 firsts and whatever else the fools gave up...if you were seriously rebuilding and got that kind of capitol it actually might be worth the write off over 2 years. Look how Houston made out. lol

When will they have a first round pick to give? Five years from now?

They have one next draft. Actually have 8 picks
    • Own picks in Rounds 1-4 and 6
    • 3rd-round pick from Buffalo (WR Amari Cooper trade)
    • 6th-round pick from Minnesota (DE Za'Darius Smith trade)
    • 6th-round pick from Chicago (DT Chris Williams trade)

I think you can loose a draft pick if you go over the cap. If they’re willing to give up a draft pick, just cut him
