Mike Tomlin press conference Russell Wilson is the likely starter now

JHC !!!!!! Do I have to point it out??? Incase they can't. We have clearly seen already if they give up 20 we've lost every game. Asking a freaking D to keep every single team under 20 in today's NFL is hard work.

 

Yeah the money, and contract had nothing to do with it. LoL. There is no money, or contract factor now.

 

CA3 might not be a #2 WR or 3, but I wouldn't say he stinks. He has made some big plays when given the chance.

 

I promise You he was wide-open for a huge play last week. Now whether Wilson will see Him, or get it to him....we shall just have to see.

 

Funny yet Ca3 has our only td as a Wr. LoL. You believe what You want, but get your excuses ready....just incase.

 

I like Fields but when the coaches watch the tape, they see him missing open receivers. Against the Raiders there was one series where all three of Fields passes were inaccurate IIRC.

 

This 100%. If our D, and Special teams do exactly what they have been doing on each of our wins....90% of the NFL Qb could win.

Clearly you do have to point it out, because clearly if D doesn’t keep a team under 20 we will lose with this offense no matter who is the QB. I mean you have already stated you will make excuses for are if he doesn’t have good stats.

You think ONE person is to blame for the success or failure of a team. JFC how hard is it for you to not see that’s how you make it sound?

 

So then you are saying Mike Tomlin can’t coach or the ownership is stupid for making decisions based of money and contracts? Instead of talent?

All teams do this. Why else do You think Indy is going back to Richardson this week.....even though they win last year, and this year more games when he on the bench....because of contracts, picks, and money. Why is Watson still playing in for the Browns. All teams do this untill they can't.....like last Year when we couldn't anymore, and started Mason. Anymore easy questions you need help with????

 

Contracts and investment definitely play into these decisions. I hope Wilson comes in and lights it up man I just highly doubt it with this receiving corp and decimated OL.

 

But I saw it through a magic box on my wall, so I obviously must know better than the coaching staff.

 

We can only hope, and it's stupid not to try. Because we forsure won't go anywhere with the 28th in the league in passing. If we could at least be middle of the pack....we maybe could do something, but You can't rely on Your Defense to keep everyone under 20, and get two turnovers a game. It's freaking unrealistic in today's NFL

If Fields didn't complete that late pass to Pickens he would have barely over 100 yrds passing. He completed that long pass late in the game to give him 145 yrds. I like Fields, I do believe he is talented but I think starting Wilson now is the right decision. Despite the wins, Fields has not secured the QB 1 job. I am interested to see what Wilson can do in a different offensive system with Arthur Smith as OC.

 

This is the last I will say about this to you tonight. You know You are grasping for straws when You will take Minas Kimes ....who has never played a down of tackle football in real life over someone that has actually played, and even if You don't count that....has watched football before She was even conceived. LoL ...., but You will take her word over mine???

 

After watching what I could find about Tomlin`s press conference, I`m not convinced he is starting Wilson.

Sounded more like a "definite maybe" to me. Maybe it`s psychology, a way to keep Wilson happy for at least another week and light a fire under Fields.

Tomlin buying himself time and remaining uncommitted as long as he can IMO.

 

What? Did you even look at the numbers I posted?

Also i don't think fields sucks. I like the kid. He's not a turd to me. However I dont like how passing game.... I know wilson will increase the passing game and lose Ann edge to him rushing. And I feel that arthur Smith will thrive more from having a QB who has the better game with passing.

 

The Colts are benching Joe Flacco who is 3-0 and leading the league in passing to reinstall Anthony Jamarcus Richardson. Are they trying to lose football games?
