Only go for two if you must have it or it can't hurt you.

Agreed. He's not making good throws this game and missing big ones.

If arthur Smith had a QB who could throw we would be 21-7

Fields in the first half: running 10/10, passing 2/10

What % of Steelers fans that just tuned in immediately thought it was 1 Raiders TD vs 4 Steelers FGs?

That was so poorly coached. The fourth-down was a terrible play call. Fields bailed the coaches out with his legs. Then they ran a straight drop-back on the two-point conversion, which makes no sense. It plays away from Fields' strength. The Steelers just gave away a point for no reason.

Maybe but at somepoint TD passes in endzone will be needed

for the near future might help. but fields has a better longer future with the Steelers. Also with this oline could wilson survive? Fields leggs is one of few bright spots so far this year

This team is going nowhere with Fields at quarterback. He just isn't good enough as a passer. He panicked away one drive, threw an ugly interception, and made a poor decision on the two-point play. He is a great athlete and runner with a fantastic arm, but simply doesn't read defenses well enough or keep his head consistently enough to be even a good NFL passer.

I'm happy see what Wilson can do, but he's not the smoking gun behind a line this bad, on an offense this bad, with coaching this bad.

agree. he isn't close to getting the ball out on time. need to simplify the throws and give him run pass options

That’s the whole point. Russell looked horrendous in the preseason because he was getting dudes in his face all game. Fields isn’t perfect, but he’s got a much better chance at success than Wilson does.

I mean, the way things have been going, that would be the more logical assumption
