LOL. I'm not saying Mason was Tom Brady. But he is at least Neil O'Donnell or Jeff Hoestettler or Trent Dilfer. Basic competence, certain strengths (hitting people in stride) *can* be inspiring compared to the trash we have had (Pickett, Mitch, Fields). Like I said before, hopefully Wilson has something left. We get a freebie basically since Denver is paying him to stay away.

And it proves his intelligence that he wanted to move on, frankly. I'd climb out of a burning dumpster, too.

Putting heat on Levis. The first time Mason played for them was the first time they'd scored 30+ points in years. Who was the QB the last time we scored 30+ points? M.R. But it's water under the bridge---we're stuck with what we have. I guess I'm more concerned with our talent evaluation/coaching/priorities than any individual player.

 

Mason would struggle with the Steelers beat up OL.

Maybe, but 1) Pickens still remains a head case; and 2) Pickens also remains the best receiver on the team, so limiting his snaps would seem more counter-productive than productive.

 

I don't remember if it was his eye black, but it was something he had on. I believe it was for His father. It may have been eye black. I only remember him getting a fine for it.
