I think Tomlin is going to stick with Fields, but if they lose to the Raiders, I would expect Wilson to start against the Jets (if healthy).

I don’t like that idea at all, but when you’re this thin at the position, I guess you’re pretty desperate.

I’d consider giving Peyton Wilson some reps outside in practice and see what he can do. He’s got good speed and agility.

Agree with this. I'd rather an ILB try OLB than a DE in Steelers system. Most of the 3-4 DEs are too slow for OLB. We've already done this successfully with Lawrence Timmons subbing for James Harrison when Harrison was suspended.

Timmons was a DL turned LB once he got to the NFL. Wilson is not.

maybe a different ilb, but not Wilson. He’s had trouble shedding blocks as it is and yall want to put him over a left tackle?

Been waiting to see the FP on Wilson. If we get it on Wednesday there is a good chance we could see Wilson as an "active" player on game day.

It would have been crazy last week if Kyle Allen had to play the rest of the game, because Russ was still listed as the Emergency QB.

Local reporter said it will be Fields and she was reporting live from the Steelers practice facility

He is taking all the first team reps

That was a very popular album when it came out and a lot of people played it

After listening to “turn me over” a bajillion times that is something you never get out of your head

But I am a big fan of 70’s rock albums

Man, I know every team has injuries. But the Steelers have been snake bitten these last two years. I mean you can survive injuries to a lot of different positions with a deep roster, but it’s tough when you lose an entire position group at the same time.

Last year we lost the entire ILB room and when Kazee got suspended, the entire safety room.

This year Watt is last man standing in the OLB room and against the Colts McCormick was the last man standing of the guards. It’s unfortunate because I think we started with good depth everywhere.

Really? So much for that idea. Probably because he’s a rookie and he doesn’t want to put more on his plate.

Peyton is athletic and quick, but I don't think he has the strength to play OLB and go up against those tackles.

I was thinking that so I did my homework first before posting

He is the same height and weight as Highsmith and bigger than Herbig

Okay dude Highsmith is a lot thicker than Peyton, don't go by those listed weights coming out of college. Highsmith and Herbig got bigger once they got to the league, Herbig is shorter but built thicker and has a great first step.

    Who is Dude Highsmith

    His name is Alex

And the heights and weights are from the Steelers roster not college
