He'll find away to go 9-8 again just to make sure that all the best QB prospects in the draft will be gone.

The defense is so overrated. When does TJ show up in key moments. When does the secondary (Tomlins speciality) ever make a play when it counts? None of that ever happens. But fans still blame the offense.

They both had a part in the loss. Gotta score more than 17 points though.

I believe Cowher could come in off the street and coach this team better than Tomlin

Time to see What Russel Wilson can do Because remember the second half of season is really hard except for maybe the Browns but can't even say that because Browns will play us like it's the Superbowl. Oh man we needed to win some of these games. Now we will be pulling for 500 Tomlin again and hoping for help to lose in first round of playoffs

There are a couple posts that indicate that it was a poor team effort coaches all need fired etc. Guys, it was a well played game and was very entertaining. The deal is that:
    1. We are beat up with injuries, the pressure went away with Herbig last night. The run game was stifled by Patterson and Warren being out.
    2. The defense stood up and had 3 takeaways and 1 fumble we nearly recovered to win the game.
    3. We need a receiver that can get himself open, Pickens is frustrated because he is on an island and teams are focusing on him. Austin can be a good option in the slot but we need a dominate receiver.
    4. Fields has to figure out when to throw the ball hard and flat and when to put air under it.
    5. They played hard to the final snap! Period! Scoring is the issue and a receiver will go a long way towards that.
    6. There was no give up in that team last night, they were motivated and played hard. We are missing parts due to injury but had we recovered that last fumble, all the commentary would be different, which is amazing.
    7. I think we will see Wilson next week, if not only to break the log jam and build confidence. There were 3-4 hard bullets Justin threw that would have been receptions if they were higher and softer, Wilson brings that.

Teams are picking on Beanie Bishop; I don't think they have another option on the roster.

He is part of a sinking secondary. I hate that stupid Tomlinism splash plays. Do they play in a pool? How about making plays on a consistent basis? 21 mill and has regressed. Signed through 2026.

I can’t complain because it’s pretty much exactly what I expected. Revolving doors along the offensive line doesn’t make for winning football

they created 4 TO's (incl. the blocked FG)

now - here is how football works: Your defense plays STELLAR, gets you the BALL, and you SCORE POINTS.

but not in Mike Tomlin's world. This was on the offense all night long, 3 and out, 3 and out, 3rd and whatever......then PUNT.

many teams have revolving OL doors, that is a big fat Tomlin excuse.

Now - we can blame Tomlin, Colbert and other offensive coaching for not developing an OLINE, that is for sure.

and yes - injuries obliterated us early. But many teams are dealing with this.

the problem is the REST of the offense is incompetent.

I assume he is not practicing with the team

Therefore when he shows up he may not be game ready

Fortunately he’s a vet and not a rookie
