Mets and Brewers game 3 tonight. I have 1 friend that is a Mets fan, and 1 that is a Brewers fan. Not sure who to root for.

 

Mets just broke Brewers fans heart with 3 run homer in top of 9.

Guess what? Phillies can come back too! It must suck to root against Harper, because he's great over and over again.

 

Harper is amazing but years ago when he was a rookie with the Nats he made a cocky statement that stuck with me. I was so happy the Nats won the WS after he left. I should get over it but I've hated the guy ever since. I don't want a ring on his finger. IMO, if I'm starting a MLB team a rookie Harper is first guy I want on team. He is a a leader and so damn clutch.

 

Awesome! All for Playoff series are tied a game each. I think it's first time it ever happen. Be cool to go to game 5's in all four series.

Oh good Lord. Now I have to count on Ranger Suarez to save our season. Mets fans still have to be a little nervous too, because they know if they don't win tonight it's unlikely they're beating Wheeler twice. I need a wild one tonight with lots of runs.

 

I agree, it comes back to Philly no way in hell they beat Wheeler.

 

Fun salary talk. Of the 8 teams left 4 of top 5 in payroll are still alive. Astros were only top 5 payroll team ousted so far. Mets are #1 topping 300 million. Mets and Yankees only 2 teams over the 300 million mark. I'd hate to see a NY World Series.

Tigers actually have a payroll that is a mere 10 million more then the Pirates. They are only team under 100 million left. KC is around 115 million.

 

I was at Casino last night during Mets/Phils game. The floor was crowded. Obviously a lot of Met fans were there because when they hit the grand slam you could hear go Mets all over the floor. Not be outdone, I yelled go Pirates. That got me laughs and 72 cent voucher a guy gave me cause he felt bad for me.

 

After those first 4 innings last night where the Mets could have broke the game wide open I said to the group I was with the Phils deserve to win it all after that. That was super clutch pitching in those early innings.

 

We got Cleveland at Detroit tonight. Go Tigers!! They have a payroll under 100 million. Hell it's only 10 more million then the Bucs.

We got NYY at KC. Hope Royals can take it to a game 5.

We got a game 5 tomorrow night. Go Padres!

I'd love it to be Detroit vs Padres just to piss MLB off. You know they are probably hoping for Yankees/Dodgers WS.

 

They want the Yankees and Dodgers every year.

 

Well Tigers will have to go back to Cleveland for a game 5. Yankees close out KC and await the winner.

Tonight Padres/Dodgers for right to play Mets in NLCS. Go Padres!

 

We both agreed on the AL teams. You won with the Mets. If SD wins tonight you take the prize. If the Dodgers win we remain tied.
