It's being reported Adams has interest in going to the Jets and Saints.

 

That would be something to worry about in the offseason.

 

I don't understand why no one is talking about the Chiefs as a landing spot for Adams as they have lost both their #1 and #2 WRs???

 

Why would the Raiders want to help out the Chiefs?

 

I'll do this all day everyday.

 

Reported by someone with an actual source or just speculation being passed off as reporting? I know people are connecting those dots and thinking Adams would want to play with Rogers again.

 

Teams normally don't like to trade within their division.

 

But Adams would not be around for more than this year likely. Sure if he was younger and cheaper it could make sense assuming he would be here for years. Even if Fields has a complete turn around all year you are not going far with an OLine this devastated. And the odds of us suffering no more OL injuries are next to 0.

Why on God’s green earth would Raiders trade Adams to a divisional team in their own division?
Somehow i used division too much I think. English my second language sometimes

 

If Adams worked out and was productive for them this year, they could possibly work out a restructured contract 32 years old next year doesn't make him washed up.

Because tanking is tanking and I think the Raiders want a new QB.

I don't believe the salary cap will have anything to do with the Chiefs not getting Adams. Teams seen to be able to move the cap whenever they need to.

As for the Chiefs they have the worst WR room in the NFL right now and the 3-Peat is off without fixing this problem.

 

They still have the big play capability with the rookie WR Worthy.

 

Definitely Not. I read that report and no where did Schefter actually quote a source, or even use the favorite "a source close to the team/player said".....

To me this is not reporting.

I will admit everyone I am Watching this morning is quoting Adam Schefter tweet.

 

Why would the Raiders be considered tanking when they are 2-2, coming off a win? And why would raiders be interested in helping KC win another Superbowl?

IDK his name, it was a guest on the Dan Patrick show this morning that said these were the spots he had 'heard'. Said mainly because of the prior connection, until something happens it's all speculation.

You don't know that. Of course, he could go somewhere else. His control of the situation is limited. It makes sense that he might want to play with Rodgers again, but it is far from a sure thing. The same is true of Carr.

 

Seem to be able is not always able. The short term hit can at times be moved through restructuring, and when in win now mode can work, I have not looked at KC's cap but you can only move so much to the future as it will come back and bite. I was listening to someone stating that the 'boys could have signed Henry in the off season if they had signed Dak Lamb, and Parsons early. Waiting until the last minute is a stupid Jones move, but the team was also way over the CAP at the beginning of the year. As much as fans want to believe that magic can happen for everyone you want to sign, there is a point where you just cannot.

I can't believe that we can trade all these draft picks for a wr, but not a OL player......, and if that's a fact....then that shows what is more important to the teams.

 

I give it a 10% chance we get Adams. I just don’t see it. Were not a desired destination for him. I think Hopkins if that were to happen would be a much more realistic option. Or a Jaguars WR or if he goes to New Orleans or the Jets maybe they will be willing to part with their number two or three. I wouldn’t dismiss the Ravens from poking around either. I could absolutely see them being interested just so we don’t get him and he would make them the SB front front runner if he were to go there.

I would rank his list as such:
1. Jets
2. Saints
3. Chiefs
4. Ravens
5. Bills
6. Commanders
7. Steelers

The only team that would not be option for the Raider to trade with would probably be the Chiefs. Like I said I think we would have better chance of getting Williams or Lazard from the Jets after they make the trade for Adams.
