We've already got one Popcorn egg lay for 2024. I wonder how many more? I can see Steelers struggling against the Raiders, Commanders and Giants. They really need to win those games, because from November 17th vs. Ravens onward is BRUTAL.

This is stupid if you post it without some context, plenty of games where Ben played like crap or the team lost the turnover battle.

How is it stupid? These are all games Steelers should have won but didn't and always lost ground to the Patriots in playoff seeding. The Patriots almost always beat the teams they should beat with the exception of the Dolphins at Miami. I don't know how the Dolphins beat Patriots more often than not, in Miami, with their crappy teams... but they did.

You've got a point. 2017 Jags for example. Tomlin wasn't the one who threw 5 interceptions.

yes - we could nitpick a couple of those games.

Jags were a decent team, DECENT - but we still wet the bed twice that yr against them. Ben threatened to retire after that game. Maybe he should have?

He and Tomlin could have / should have after losing in January. We'd be in a WHOLE different place today, THAT is for sure.

Yeah I want no part of Daniels, so far through 4 games he has the highest completion percentage than any QB to start the season in NFL history. Not just rookie QB's but any QB.

Steelers don't match up well vs. Commanders. That will be an epic whoopin'. Kingsbury offense/Daniels vs stagnant Tomlin D in soft zone and only rushing 4....we are doomed.

Because I remember what happened during some of those losses, for example Denver 2018 Ben threw an interception in the endzone at the end of the game.

The out of order part is....I could do this with any coach that has coached more than 10 years. If You don't believe me....put some money on it. I've already checked.

No Daniels has nothing to do with it.....it's all the great team, and the awesome coaching. Haven't you heard??? If a great college player does bad in the NFL ....it's all on the Teams....not the player. LoL......Funny the Washington whatever have sucked, but magically they are now good with a Good Qb.....

Washington is one of those teams that's been so irrelevant for a while that, at least for me, I now know very little about. Daniels is one of those guys who is easy to root for, so good for him. I'm certainly not ready to concede yet that they are suddenly some juggernaut that is unbeatable. Kind of the same thing for the Vikings and Darnold. The NFL is an ebb and flow league. They are both going to struggle at some point. It's inevitable. The NFL is the king of over-reaction by fans week to week. It's a big part of what makes the NFL fun to me. You think you know...then you find out you didn't know much.

it is both - or all of the above
you need talent on the field + talented, creative coaching + a talented FO, to win at a high level

You can’t fix this. Most fans equate the NFL to the college game. When they say “games they should have won” they do not have a complete grasp on the difference in the sport. Those same people often say crazy stuff like one of the college teams could beat a bad NFL team. That simply is not true, Jacksonville would kill Ohio State or Texas today with zero problem. Any NFL team can win on any given week. The bad teams simply lack consistency. If you don’t know about about the sport, you could watch Bama beat North Alabama and think “they could beat the Panthers”. No they cannot. Many teams get surprised by teams they don’t often play. The Ravens are a great example, they often times crush NFC teams who have not experienced him.

Well then how the hell did the Steelers have the #1 defense for 3 weeks limiting teams to 10 points or less.... and then all of sudden in game 4 give up 17 in one quarter to a Colts team with an average at best NFL offense, with a backup QB and backups on the OL? I don't give a sh!t about college teams and fans' perceptions... the analogy is pointless. The Steelers defense, the strength of the team... laid a collosal egg. If it weren't for the offense's 2nd half heroics, this game would have been a blowout. This is an inexcusable.... and it's been going on since 2014. Playing down to lesser, more "inconsistent" teams.... it's a fact and it's real.

Take a breath dude, sit down and control your heart rate. Did you see the Texans struggle last week? Did you see the 3-0 Bills get beat by a 1-3 team by 20. It happens, we had several injuries on the defensive side which negated our pass rush. Keep in mind we are playing several tough DB’s that are still adjusting to the speed of the pro game. It will be ok and they can get some folks back. It’s a long season and no reason for you to fall out of your lazy boy and hurt something.

If you knew anything you wouldn’t make the stupid a$$ comments you make. I can go low also, I made general comments about why teams can lose games. But $**** I love this part. If either one of you dipshits knew anything or watched any football at you would know injuries matter so ****off.
