Highsmith was out and Herbig was injured during the game. This allowed them to double him up most of the day. He was held several times but is effectiveness was probably hampered by not having a solid pass rush on the other side.

I did not know Herbig was injured. Early?

The D made NO ADJUSTMENTS. Kept rushing 4.

go rewatch. with our CB's and S's (a pretty talented group), I would have been throwing Queen at the LOS more often in blitzes. he is quick. Man up and rush 5.

I don't want to think that there's a mind sick enough to come up with Cleveland OH out of pure imagination.

No need to rewatch. They certainly could have made different changes. I was just referring to the Watt statement.

It's hard for the Steelers to win if Watt is a nonfactor.

Yes....I totally agree,,but How would a guy I work with in Chicago, and then a different Guy I worked with in Galveston Texas all hear the same story, before the internet, and all from their Brother in laws cousin who just happened to be.....so on, and so forth??? It makes no sense. It's a urban legend. Kinda like I have not lived in one place... in my entire life ...that I haven't heard the same fish story about divers fixing a dam, and seeing these huge fish ....big as a car....I've heard it in, Arkansas, Texas, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida, and Missouri.....the exact same story .....about their local dam. LoL

The funny thing about all the yinzers posting here, this is 100% correct. Because the franchises are all part of the "league", fixing games is not illegal whatsoever.

    Very serious. Get a clue.

There is nothing illegal if they are in fact scripting games. The world is bigger than North Hills. Venture out.

Pallets of tinfoil are overkill. You need maybe two rolls. You can make a lot of hats from a single roll and you have a spare roll in case your wife goes crazy cooking with stuff wrapped in tinfoil...... Oh, and you need a little bit extra for the rabbit ears on the TV.

PS, pro tip. Use the Reynolds wrap extra thick foil. It holds it shape a lot better. Don't want no droopy hats!

The NFL cannot legally fix games. There’s no doubt about it from a legal perspective, despite the folks who need to see conspiracies everywhere to satisfy whatever internal need they’re satisfying. Not only is it illegal, but it’s also impossible to script games the way that conspiracy theorists imagine. This article in a university law journal explains it all better than I can:

https://ublawsportsforum.com/2023/0...res are listed, direct removal from the league.

Now, for anyone who reads the WHOLE article, you’ll see that the author speculates on how game outcomes can be illegally nudged by a small conspiracy between the commissioner, broadcast execs and a few officials. It seems to me like something that’s not worth the risk, but you never know. As for a larger conspiracy? Anyone who has ever worked on subject matter protected by confidentiality agreements and laws, which I have for 30+ years, can tell you how impossible it would be to keep a lid on a broader conspiracy. People like to talk. A lot. It’s hard to plug leaks on something that a few dozen people know, never mind hundreds or thousands. Then there’s the matter of choreographing games to be played live in front of 80,000 fans. This isn’t a case where Hollywood can just generate some CGi live on the field.

You don't see replays of bad calls on your TV? Maybe it's your provider. I saw several replays of the "PF" against Minkah.

I'll take a few Watt absence games... as long as he shows up in the playoffs and against division rivals.
