We sucked - and were not READY.

 

Imagine that.... a qb we used to face twice a year that the coaches couldn't adjust for

 

I said in a thread yesterday IDK how to evaluate this team, games like this happen and for whatever reason once the slop starts everything else turns to slop. Could be lack of prep, taking the opponent lightly, injuries in key places, the list goes on. I do not think the D is as bad as they played yesterday, nor are they the knock out group we sam in the first 3 games. As often seen in any team sport, a 'slump' can hit a team and it almost like it spreads to a point the entire effort is a comedy of errors.

What I did see and said from the beginning of the season, is I want a team that fights through adversity until the end. On paper before the game perhaps we should have won, the way it was played we should have lost (and did), but despite KP's several last minute comebacks, for the first time in a long time I saw this team actually headed in the right direction. Yes, they have work to do, and it may well turn into a crapfest (hope not), but the fight was there and the O almost have pulled out the D...when was the last we said that?

I cannot believe Tomlin and the some of the fans on this board claim they DON'T know how to adjust when Flacco plays. hahaahhhahaha

Even TV watching fans have seen Flacco play the steelers a good 16 times (forget about just watching Raven's games against other teams) and know his tendencies.

he / they were ripping thru our "HISTORIC THIS IS THE 2008 DEFENSE" (I actually read moronic stories like that last week) like a hot knife thru butter!

Defense was on it's heels, asleep - NO IDEA what to do or what was coming next.

I mean, it is called "overreaction Monday" for a reason.

 

The D was not ready ,the offence was not ready maybe we should hire someone to get the team ready for any opponent we play .Sorry for making another "racist remark" ,and upsetting the tomlin cheerleaders squad.

 

Even worse when you consider it was over three series. That’s one completion and one and a third run per series.
At this point, I gotta assume you’re just being sarcastic. Plus yeah Tomlin sucks. No arguments for me there.

 

Tomlin has to lose just enough games to come in at the end and be the 500 or better hero cant you see this so we can all bow to his greatness for managing to sneak us into the playoffs so he then can forget how to win again and we get in the first round

 

The so-called Tomlin cheerleader squad is a myth. The problem arises when people overexaggerate and make stuff up. Then when that gets pointed out, it comes off as supporting Tomlin. No it’s just saying hey you’re a dumbass and you’re wrong.

That's not the point. We haven't faced him in 7 years, and also We didn't spend all week game planning for Him. Im not try to be an a$$ , but this is a thing. Ask anybody that has had to do it, and on top of that He's not only a way better Qb than Richardson right now....he's a way different kind of Qb. Usually the backup is not as good as the starter.....it's not this way Herr.
I get it if sone people don't understand this, or never had to do it....so its not making sense......,, and I know someone will say .....well what about when other teams backups come in,,but I already explained that.....most backup Qbs are not better than the starters. No matter what You think, or want to think about Flacco....he is light years ahead of Richardson right now.

 

Maybe the Steelers can get Flacco next year. Stairway to 7

 

What does that even mean.....Richardson is probably the worst Qb in the league. Have any of You watch one single game with him. He has a super strong arm, and He has scored a few tds, but He turns the ball over about every 10 snaps....with either fumbles, or ints....I believe He has an int every 12 passes so far this year., and he completes about 49% of his passes. He played what two, and a half drives yesterday, and fumbled once in that little bit of play.

 

It means if the Steelers get Flacco Tomlin will finally win a playoff game. Jump Ball Joe is that good.

 

I couldn't remember if it was 1.5, or 2.5, and I haven't watched the game again. I know there was about 5, and half minutes still on the clock in the 1st quarter.

 

I guess I'm wasting my time. Everything I said is going over your head. Here ....is this more your speed. .....Tomlin dumb.....we lose....must be Tomlins fault.....Qb fumbles.....Tomlins fault.....Wrs fumbles....him must be Tomlins fault......Him no good.....Steelers no good.....
