It’s a pathetic attempt at humor, but not surprising considering the source

Every team has one or two bad games. The Raiders beat the Ravens in Baltimore a few weeks ago for example

The Steelers just weren’t at it yesterday and they got punched in the mouth. It happens

Hopefully they bounce back next week

Never a chance. The refs are preserving that for the 2024 KC Chiefs.

Gotta laugh, you do know that no teams are gonna go undefeated right?

I mean come on, have you not seen all the injuries we have? And we are still 3-1. If Patterson doesn’t get injured, we aren’t even discussing having a loss. Heck in fact if Richardson doesn’t get injured we aren’t discussing a loss.

Slant passes killed us. If Richardson isn’t in there he doesn’t make those slant passes for 1st downs.

wake up it’s the NFL. Teams lose to teams they are supposed to beat. It happens all over the NFL. I mean Broncos beat the Jets, look around the league at all the games that didn’t end like you would think.

These kind of thoughts aren't allowed according to some fans on this board only the Steelers lose to inferior teams .

It’s been pretty consistent since the early 90’s. That, and being beat over the middle on 3rd and long.

Highsmith was missed. As good as the defense is, it’s built around pressure and being able to rotate the linebackers to keep them fresher than the tackles they are facing is key.

The running game isn’t the same without Warren. Patterson did a nice job but got hurt. I never liked Harris and that game showed me why.

The lack of a 2nd legit receiver is highlighted in games like this.

Too many injuries on the offensive line and rookie mistakes.

Raiders-Ravens don’t count since Tomlin isn’t the coach.

Cowher could barely win with his own players so he handed the team over to Tomlin so someone could win with Cowhers players .

Richardson scored not a single point....so how would he be on the path to hanging 40???

I believe that. What team prepares for the backup Qb???
I've said this until I'm tired of saying it. LoL.
But when You spend all week preparing for , watching tendencies of, and keys for a certain Qb, and that Qb gets hurt in the 2nd drive of the game.....all that work has been thrown out the window........what makes it worse is.....right now Flacco is a way better Qb than Richardson, and on top of that.....a totally different type of Qb. So I do imagine.....everything they practiced all week was worthless.

    agreed, to a point.

Tomlin is POOR at in game adjustment - and God only knows what Austin does, or thinks or sees or understands....

they SUCKED in prep AND play yesterday - for 60 mins.

and as I stated in another thread, Herbert was starting to DICE them last week.......and then we fell on his leg.

They better get their heads out of their ASSES.

(and dummy Pickens and dummy Harris for that matter. Pickens better learn QUICKLY what offensive PI, I saw it twice yesterday - he got lucky!) lack of discipline, POOR coaching

Yes You are mistaken. The man had a total of 4 passes, and not one single point....not throwing, and not rushing. Their Rb had a td run, and Flacco threw all their tds. Now Richardson did have a fumble that we didn't get. So I would say he was on the way of turning the ball over more....than hanging 40 . LoL

come on man - he diced and marched HIS TEAM up and down the field. AT WILL. come on dude - watch the game again.

he, AS QB - (and the 40 was a little hyperbole) was ready to ROLL UP a whole lotta points on that SAD SACK defense

I'm not trying to be an a$$ in anyway, but Have You ever prepared for something all week, and that was not even what you faced afterwards.??? I know I have, and it sucks.....let alone the person that you actually face is better than what, ir who you prepared for, but totally different than what You prepared for.
