They never learn. Several Bengals wiped their cleats with a Terrible Towel years back and I believe there was a rash of injuries and a losing streak after the desecration. They apologized later and the curse was lifted.
For the unaware, Myron Cope signed over all royalties from sales of the Terrible Towel to the special school that cared for his son Danny. It brings very bad karma to disrespect a Terrible Towel. If the Colts steal one, I fear for their safety.

Sorry jeh, I put a better link in there now. Some fool linebacker from the Dolts wants to steal a Terrible Towel. I wish someone would get word to him to not do that. The curse is very real. Ask Jeff Fisher of the Titans about it.

It was on a YT channel yesterday, the guy is supposedly a Colt Captain (?) from what they shared. It's bad enough bashing players, but somewhat expected, when you give the opposing locker room this kind of bulletin board stuff, along with how our fans travel, could be a long day for that guy.

The curse is so real that Bill Cowher went back in time and broke Jeff Fisher‘s leg.

I mean, it's one thing to buy one and do something with it to stir up the opposition, but to take one from a fan? Real classy.

I’ve had mine since 1978. Christmas present from my older brother. If he thinks he’s going to steal it then both of us may end up in jail.

I have my mother's original 1976 version bought first release at Gimbles

My wife used it once and lost it in the ladies room

Once she realized this she panicked and ran back to look

There was a lady just standing there displaying it outside the ladies room

She said she knew someone would be coming back

It does not go to games anymore now having a place of honor in my basement
