Very deserving, Great to spread this accolade around.

 

I thought it might go to Austin but the entire NFL world is talking about Fields now. I can't wait to watch the morning shows tomorrow.

 

Glad we didn't trade him with a second for aiyuk.

 

Good for him. I was sure Fields was getting 2 straight.

 

Would be great to see him break out. His speed and quickness can't be overlooked. I'm happy for him, seems like a great guy.

 

Austin has worked hard his whole life. His freshman year at Memphis he was 5'4" and weighed 140 but still played D1 football.

 

Was that his first NFL TD?

 

He had one vs raiders last year and vs bills in the playoffs

 

What a day for the kid! I was hoping he would be a solid part of the offense during camp. Well he showed it today.

So happy for him. It’s only a matter of time until he breaks a punt return for a TD.

 

Funny you say that. I havent heard Aiyuks name mentioned the last 2 games. Is he even playing? Is he hurt?

Aiyuk has 11 catches for 119 yards and no TD's in 3 games. He is taking a lot of heat in San Francisco for all of his off season drama and then not doing crap so far this year.

Took him 3 games to get 100 yards.
And he's complaining that defenses are out against him..... shocker right?

 

Should have accepted the trade. San Fran could have gotten rid of a potential headache while gaining some draft capital. Then again, given what has happened with their roster, such a statement is much easier to say in hindsight. However, one major issue.


Brock Purdy needs paid in 2025. This is it for San Fran for this current corps. Now or never.

 

And CMC's health is in question to boot... I know Jordan Mason has played well for them, but CMC is special. I figured with no camp that Aiyuk would be slow out of the gate (Chase was too) but I expect him to start coming on strong here soon.

On that note, I really hope Fields ends up being the guy here. A Baker Mayfield contract would be awesome. Get ourselves a quality QB at 15-25 million dollar difference from the rest of the top QB's.... Allows us to spend a bit and spread the love around. Just need to draft well to make sure the momentum sticks.
