    After three games….

Fields 3-0, Qb rating 95.4. Salary $1.6 million
Watson 1-2, Qb rating 71.3 Salary $46 million

….and we have not got into the issues of draft capital and scandals/lawsuits.

The Stains really stepped in it this time.

4.8 yards per pass attempts for Watson and he has been sacked 16 times after only 3 games :roflmao:

3 more years stuck with him for the Browns :roflmao:

The Browns are stuck with a 72 million cap hit for Watson for the next two years.

Apparently Watson just doesn't have the right support , is not getting coached up, and doesn't have the right people around him. I mean it was all the Texans fault as I heard, and now it's all the Browns fault. LoL. Even though the Texans are good now without him, and the Browns were making the playoffs before him. I've been repeatedly told it's not the players fault it's everyone else's around him. LoL

The problem in this,it has been proved that several QB with the browns in their current coaching staff has success with this team like Baker when he was healthy,Jacoby Brissett and even a washed 38 years old Joe Flacco!

    Only Watson is complete garbage!

And having good support for a QB is more important when you start in the league for the confidence

For completeness let's include the guy they replaced for Watson:

    Mayfield 2-1, QB rating 110.7 $33M

When stupid owners try to make football decisions most of the time it doesn't work out very well. After all, they didn't get rich playing football.

You think the likes of David Tepper and Jimmy Haslam would know by now to allow those who have knowledge, experience and success to run and operate the organization while they themselves can sit back and profit off of it. Nope!! Gotta interfere with everything.

Seriously? Big Red is a "star" after one game and Fields is "mid" at 3-0?

sometimes its the player but other times it is the coaching (see Canada, Bears staff seemingly, and perhaps Meyer). It varies case by case. I think before 1969 for the Steelers it was both!

Well…. His “specialty” would get him killed immediately on a football field. Only one helmet per player is allowed to be seen.

And if we want to bring Kenny Pickett into the comparison, Fields has one more year of experience in the NFL…..and is nine months younger than Pickett. Can’t do a comparison of stats this season, because Pickett has not played. He keeps the bench from floating away over in Philly.
