Still have NOT been able to watch my Steelers play this year. Sucks being in Oregon for Steelers football. I get stuck watching EVERY Chiefs game...

 

I'm actually getting it locally quite a bit this year so far.

 

Ugghhhh...I have an HDTV antenna that gets both NY and PHL channels and one of them usually has the Steelers game but not this week.

 

Although a microscopic viewing area, at least they shaded this game in Black and Yellow. Not quite gold, but it matches the rap tune.

Looked back in the archives recently from the early days of TSF site in 2011 and it was none other than our dear leader, TTF, who started the TV map link each week and then taken over by my much older friend JEH and then commandeered by yours truly when JEH was on a bender...err...vacation a few years ago.

Looks like 3 of the next 4 games will be national broadcast with 2 SNF and 1 MNF probably viewable only on the Home Shopping Network. The 4th is against the Raiders at Caesars Palace LOL which will very likely be shown all over the west coast and along the Appalachian Trail in the east. I mention Caesars because in the 80's I ran into John Madden at Cleopatra's Barge (bar) inside Caesars (little did he know his team would end up there someday) and he invited me to a drink with him. Very personable fella, especially since I never mentioned I was a Steeler fan for life (now stretching out 4 generations). You do what you gotta do - for a $15 beer.

 

I’ll be at the game but would have been able to watch on a local TV channel again. So far zero Steelers games for me on the direct TV package this year. Every one of them has been on local tv. Feel like I never left Pittsburgh except for paying to watch other games.

 

For all the Steeler games that are blacked out in my area. I simply go to a website on my phone and have access to any NFL game that I want. I then just Air Play it to my tv. Hasn’t let me down yet. Knock on wood.

Why would I get Vikings/Packers in S. Jersey????? And I thought CBS had the AFC???? FOX usually NFC. Eagles on at 1:00 so I doubt that CBS game will be on. I'd be super PO'd if it's on since they dumped the Steelers last week.

 

Where have you been? The networks started cross-dressing conferences several years ago. The networks must now be bidding on all games when (or before) the schedule is announced. No rhyme nor reason at all. Just like inter-league play now in MLB. Now they have all the streaming hubs bidding as well - hence KC at Pgh on Christmas exclusively on Skin-flicks.....errrr.....Net-flicks.

 

I have Netflix but I sure wish we were playing Carolina that day.

Remember last week the Eagles cancelled out the Steelers on CBS? This week the Eagles on FOX at 1 and CBS has a game on at 1 in my area. And it ain't the Steelers

 

We had the ticket auto-renew for this season, which I was fine with, but we are now into the 4th game of the year and haven’t had to use it! My wife is giving me a hard time now - lol!

 

Got a free year when I got new phone. Didn't even realize so nice surprise. So far I've needed every week in Philly market

 

I refuse top pay that anymore. My bro sets up a face time for the game for me as he lives in Erie. We watch live. Then I mirror it to my 85” and it works perfectly.

 

To each their own. To me $300 for a whole season of any game I want to watch on Sunday is actually a steel.
