There is no room for second place. There is only one place in my game, and that's first place. I have finished second twice in my time at Green Bay, and I don't ever want to finish second again. There is a second place bowl game, but it is a game for losers played by losers.

Oh there is definitely more than one. That being said I’m trying really hard to to give him a fair shot this year. He is off to a good start and one loss shouldn’t change things. Lose 3 in a row and the arrow pointing down well….

Still at the end of the day it will be about how he fairs in the postseason ultimately. MT has always shown he is a good regular season HC.

I hope we avoid a 3 game losing streak this year....We have one each year since 2018

We all want to see post season success, but I find it really funny when I do this same thing with Lamar Jackson with some of the same people that are always calling out Tomlin for post season losses....they bring up Lamar Jackson's MVPs....a regular season reward.
You can't have it both ways.

I get the frustration with Tomlin and the lack of playoff success. I really do and I feel it as well. My problem is that many times the Tomlin bashing materializes out of thin air in nearly every thread, regardless of the subject. Many times it has nothing to do with the topic being discussed. I guess I don't understand how some of you can't see how that would be annoying.

I guess I'm just a positive person and see no benefit in trudging the subject up ad nauseam. There's nothing any of us can do about it. I will also say this, I damn near guarantee that even if Tomlin was to win a playoff game this season, there would still be the D&G crew there to complain that the team didn't win a Super Bowl.

What's more annoying is the self righteous blowhards who feel the need to berate those who post an opinion that they don't want to hear. The constant beeyatching from these guys complaining about comments critical of Tomlin is just as tiring.

And if Tomlin's squad can win a postseason game this year, we'll celebrate like there's no tomorrow. Hell, we'll have a parade!

I get that man but you have to see the silliness in the continued Tomlin bashing at present time given how the team has looked to this point, no? Especially given what they started the season with at QB, diminished receivers, and plenty of injuries to go around. It's as if guys think if they give Tomlin even a modicum of credit, they're automatically nuthuggers.

It just makes zero sense to me to be having these same discussions when the team that we all root for is 3-0. You want to lose your mind after not making the playoffs or a first round exit? More power to ya and there will be many more on that bandwagon. Let's not act like 3 wins has absolved Tomlin of all of his past shortcomings but right now this bickering seems just plain absurd.

Yeah I do see it. I also gave Tomlin props for what we've seen so far this season.

This is fake news. Watched recent documentary, Noll came in and ran a bunch of players off in 69.
Drafted a lot of players that eventually gave Steelers first Superbowl in 1975.
Not sure if you were serious or being sarcastic.

I guess so long as the Steelers don't lose the game, Tomlin did a good enough job. That's hilarious! It takes so much more than the head coach to win a game.

I guess if the Steelers lose the game, Tomlin is to blame. That's hilarious! It takes so much more than a head coach to lose a game.

If you can't dig it out yourself, that is sarcasm. For those that don't understand how coaching actually works. LOL!!!

Cowher took over a team that was 17th in offense and 22nd in defense. Tomlin took over a team that was top 10 on both sides of the ball.

Imagine Tomlin drafting a qb, getting him developed into a hof, revamping a defense, offense, special teams, changing coordinators and winning with a team he constructed. Imagine that...........

Good thing he wasn't asked to do that in 2007 huh?
