I’m happy with MT so far this year but as many know it’s early and that playoff record recently is downright awful.

To the earlier point, since joining, you showed up in the Game Day Thread and then have only posted in the Tomlin thread.

I can appreciate this perspective and think it is fair.

I am not happy with the recent years either; however, I do recognize they gave Tomlin a new contract recently, so he probably has a few years to prove it. He is off to a good start this year and we will see how this plays out.

Nope. Not a Tomlin fan. When you lead the league for 10 years in pro bowl appearances and only have 3 playoff wins to show for it while witnessing two dynasties, yea, it's time for new leadership.

 

We have seen plenty of guys like you show up and their whole schtick is Tomlin sucks, they usually don't last long on this board.

 

I'm old enough to remember that Chuck Noll only won 4 Superbowls because he had Bill Austin's players.

 

There are things Coach Tomlin cannot change for certain people and we’ll leave it there. Just know, if he were to win the SB, it would be because of someone else. We can all just hope our team wins and forget all the stupid noise.

 

I’m not a huge Tomlin fan and he has driven me crazy more than a few dozen times over his 16 years here but I will give him credit when it’s due. I didn’t think we would be 3-0 and leading the division right now. For that I will give him praise. I hope he keeps it up. Our team is starting out very well this season. On a side note: if MT were to be fired at any point he would be the first HC hired for the next NFL team seeking a new HC. I doubt he would be unemployed for more than 2 weeks.

 

Beat someone good and the playoff record will immediately be brought up

Win the superbowl and we will be reminded it’s the only one we won in years

Not defending Popcorn, but Cowher had a lot of Noll's players who were good and contributed to playoff wins in the 90's.... Woodson, Lloyd, Lake, E. Green, O'Donnell, Dawson to name a few.

 

These threads are entertaining. I can't decide which side is more entertaining.

The Tomlin Bashers (TBs) bring up points about the Steelers, that more or less factual.

The Bashers of Tomlin Bashers (BoTBs) just troll the the TBs. They just attack the TBs (which should be moderated), but they do add to the entertainment value of the board.

 

Why would they stay with tools like you telling them how they should think and what they should write. You and Glenn must be related. Just like two nuts in the same ballsack.
