This is dumb....because why.???....I can give 500 hundred examples of this same thing, but with other teams. Example 1 without trying: the 2019 Ravens go 14-2 with a unanimous MVP, and get blown out in the very 1st playoff game. So that whole season was smoke , and mirrors.???
Dude Your dislike for Tomlin is your own deal, but don't judge the team in a void. I could go every year of every NFL season, and bring up the exact same examples. Don't be sheep , and let whatthe MEDIA was saying that year sway you. Tell me truthfully.....what did you expect the media ...that had almost to a man .....picked us to be last in the division say after we started 11-0...., and guess what.....they did it again this year.....so guess what they will be saying if, and when we do good this year???

 

I'm just stating the facts man. I'm sorry that you don't like them. Fact: the head coach has ultimate responsibility for the results of his squad. Fact: Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game since 2016. Fact: Tomlin coached squads have underperformed for the level of talent they have.

Now for my opinions. I would rather see postseason success than regular season wins and getting embarrassed in the playoffs being 1 and done or not making the postseason at all. Never having a losing season is a great accomplishment. Now how about winning a postseason game in the current decade. I like what I've seen so far this year with preparation and adjustments and I've given Tomlin credit. I'm cautiously optimistic, however, I'm not going to get overly excited and onto the give tomlin a lifetime contract at 3-0 or 11-0 until he shows he can win in the playoffs.

Call it dumb or whatever you want. It's an opinion not a dick. Stop taking it so hard.

You can't say that just because we lost in the playoffs that the season didn't count.....or facts....I could do this to almost every team....every year. I don't care if You don't like Tomlin. That has nothing to do with what I'm trying to explain. What I'm trying to explain....is You can't honestly judge any team, HC, Gm, or anything in a vacuum. Without comparing to other teams. ....and I could give 500 comparisons to that 11-0 team..

 

I didn't ask for a comparison. I care about the Steelers winning championships not the Ravens or any other team. What you are offering is a red herring and doesnt matter to what I'm saying. I want championships which means winning in the postseason. Again, my opinion. What is so hard for you to understand?

 

You can't say no comparison. Everything in sports is a comparison. Otherwise there would be nothing to compare to, and would be no games played.
Some think I'm sticking up for Tomlin, and I'm not. I don't care who likes, and don't like him, but You can't say something, and then act like we are the only team to do things. Example: I've heard .....We are the only team to draft a LT, and then play him at RT.....when someone make this statement....then they are apparently judging in a void.....because it not true.....many teams have done it. I'm not saying You have ....I'm just giving an example.

 

@S.T.D before you say im hating on Tomlin… what he said is true. Media builds Tomlin up as some kind of God, for not having a losing season. But, how can you be that great if you cant win a playoff game in almost a decade?
