    Not Chicago!!.... hold on....

.... wait a second... it all makes sense! We both are wrong! Know why?!

Caleb Williams is Superman!! He can do anything!!!.....

.... Then people recall the Notre Dame game in his final season at USC which revealed a number of major flaws!! Then, many of the National Media conveniently FORGOT about them all!

Chicago did too; drafting a project at Offensive Tackle as opposed to an IOL because IOLs are USELESS!!... somehow! :lolol:

Matt Canada is in the driver's seat for the worst Offensive Coordinator in NFL History.... which is saying a lot! Remember that Jim Colletto of the 2008 Detriot Lions team?! Yeah.... yeesh. Canada is arguably worse despite the Steelers never going winless an entire season during that span!!

Fields has a QB rating of around 95, and in each of his three games he has been over 90. The Steelers’ defense looks for real, so it may work out that they really don’t need a Josh Allen or Mahomes to win consistently.
Yesterday looked like Bill Cowher came back and ran the team for a day. Move the rock, burn the clock, have long drives that wear down the opposing defense (and don’t allow the opposing offense to have long drives on you) and basically win by not giving the other team the ball to play with.
I did not check time of possession.

The steelers had the ball for almost 34 minutes vs chargers(like 19 minutes in the second half) and they are second in this stats this year in the NFL after 3 games with like 33 minutes per games

    I think
It's also important to point out that he was clearly the backup heading into Week 1 and before Russ' injury, and Smith hadn't opened up the entirety of the playbook until last week. He's trending up and will likely continue to do so.

Tomlin deserves to be in the HOF just for not having a losing season those 3 years with Canada alone, lol

That sounds right. It seemed like they had the ball a LOT in the second half.

Yes, way less 3 and outs compared to the previous 3 years. I like the way the offense is trending with Fields and Arthur Smith, big improvement

The Defense held the Chargers to -4 yards in the second half. That is some serious defense.

Caleb Williams has bust written all over him. But then again, what 1st round pick QB for the Bears hasn't?

Being in a good situation matter big time for a young QB for the confidence....Problem with the bears right now, they ask too much of Williams. They ask to be Mahomes when he is just a rookie...They have no running game too

Right. It was a tip drill that the Chargers were just lucky enough to come up with

Interceptions are going to happen, its the NFL, especially if you are playing aggressive...and Fields may need to be more aggressive at times. I don't want him to be a Kenny Pickett and afraid to throw the ball downfield...and then in 4th Qtr need to be aggressive and come back and win the game. I want Fields to be who i saw yesterday and throwing the ball down the field to Calvin Austin and the last game to George Pickens when Patrick Surtain II was next to him (unfortunately it was called back due to holding), and let his playmakers make plays as they did.

But San Francisco traded away draft picks to move up to take Him. How come they didn't know better???
How come some no name guy like me ....that has only stuck my neck out on two Qbs....Burrows, and CJ Stroud can get it correct, but whole GMs, and staffs can take a Richardson, T. Lance, or B. Young. No way in hell anyone watched Richardson play football, and ever thought.....Hey that guys is awesome.....yet they let a combine trick them.

To me it was an ugly pick. Too much congestion in the middle to make that throw. But that's going to happen to any quarterback from time to time.

San Fran knew what they were getting with Lance; an insanely toolsy QB who needed serious time to develop. Unfortunately, for Lance, this simply didn't pan out at all. San Fran did all they could but Lance didn't work out.

So again, Lance is an exception that proves the rule.
