We should run well against the Colts, they are terrible against the run.

Kiper: the NFL should ban two high safeties.
    Fields: Hold my beer

    Indeed he was.

His confidence is growing. That needs to continue.

Zach Frazier is a certified badass. If it wasn't official during the lead up to the 2024 NFL Draft on how highly rated he was, it is imperative now. Frazier is gonna be something special in time.

As for JPJr?! Not even worried. He is still Pittsburghs best Corner since Ike Taylor.... and that is saying quite a bit.

We should also get a few turnovers from mistake prone Anthony Richardson

    Indeed they are.

A great litmus test for Fields. He passed as far as I am concerned. Never mind him though.

How about Zach Frazier?! You and I both liked him a lot coming out of WVU. How has he looked to you?!

Najee on pace for another 1,000 yard season.

Cordell Patterson had a nice night, does he deserve more time?

And, where did Warren go at the end of the game when Najee and Patterson took over?

It looks like Broderick Jones had a bounce back game, you didn't hear his name called much.
    This was Queen's best game
It was good to see a receiver other than Pickens step up and make plays

You need to add herbig stepping up for highsmith position.

Wasn't that Minka's mistake? Doesn't Porter have to cover the short out, and assume Minka has his back on the deep route? Porter can't be responsible for both receivers.

It looked like a levels concept and Porter bit too hard on the underneath throw, leaving a ton of space and not enough time for the safety to get over. If Porter held his depth, the throw would've been underneath and Porter could come downhill and make the tackle. Granted, it was a great call into the exact defense we ran (and Herbert anticipated that well)... but I think Porter was the one to blame for it. It looked like the staff was talking to him to see what he saw when the camera panned to JPJ on the bench after the score. I don't know the exact call (or each player's exact responsibility on that play), but it was probably Porter's read that was off.

To be fair, they hadn’t faced very good opposition in their first two games and they lost Bosa. That said, it was still impressive, especially the second half.

These are so good every week. I rarely if ever disagree and only sometimes think a couple takes or do were left out.

I look forward to these as much as anything post game! Good on ya mate!!!

Pickett played the same way in his first time out as he did in his last, imo. Some games that turned out better than in others.... But there was never any real growth.

I think Fields is growing. We are seeing continuing improvement week to week. I do not know where the ceiling is, but I do not think we are there yet......

Warren has not been getting the work this season. I suspect that he has been playing injured..... Or he pissed a coach off.

    7. Jackson #26 on the opposite side of Porter seems to be a VERY good find for our secondary.

I cringe every time Harris tries to run outside, why they even call those plays for him I have no idea

Maybe once or twice a game to keep the defense honest, but he needs to be running up the middle or off tackle. He is a beast when he is running downhill. That's what he needs to be doing.
