If they were smart, they'd just rest Herbert for KC. It's a shame though if he can't play on Sunday, I was really looking forward to it

I remember Roethlisberger being so far in San Francisco with a similar injury in 2011.

Considering how Carolina has played so far this year, it is questionable if they are using the facility at all.
At least the Chargers would get some use out of it.

With Herbert having a high ankle sprain, I don't think he will run for 90 yards against the Steelers like he did the last time he faced them.

Now all we need is a Chargers player to disrespect the Towel.

I don't think it will matter that much if Herbert plays or not. I think their game plan will be to hand the ball off to Dobbins and let their OL go to work. I see this as going to be a very physical and bloody game.

I get that Neal has cred considering he is a former pro running back. But who in the hell did he ever beat? And did he stop to consider what Harris and Warren have had to face with below average offensive line and QB play the majority of their careers?

It matters if Dobbins gets shut down.

Neal had 807 yards in something like 16 seasons

Apparently nobody was afraid of him

I thought Najee Harris kept defenses up at night wondering how to stop him? lol

Jokes aside, its not that surprising of a comment. Warren is used in tandem and has never been afforded the opportunity to prove himself as a lead back, and Najee hasn't given anyone any reason to fear playing against him since he's been a pro. Lorenzo Neal has lead blocked for a lot of really good backs too, so I would give some level of credence to what he has to say (even though there is an air of homer-ism/fandom in those words). Blocking for Eddie George, Corey Dillon, LaDanian Tomlinson, and Ray Rice all in succession is no joke.

    They also run Gus Edwards.

Since it seems we still need another WR, I wonder if we can kidnap Brenden Rice before the Chargers leave town.

    Interesting

I’ve been watching football for a long time and could probably watch the game with the sound off

I have no thoughts whatsoever on any announcers being good or bad

This 100% ... outside of what Mason did for a few games. Who else besides Pickett would you game plan for if you were the defense???....., but some aren't smart enough to see this.

Our ILB will face their first test of season against a good running game. Much better than ATL

Yeah, I think the Chargers are more committed to the run than Atlanta... but ATL has a really good RB and a really good OL. They're certainly capable of running it well. As for the Chargers, you'll see a lot of big personnel run attack. The best thing we can do is jump out to a lead and force them to do stuff they don't want to do. Our defense should be ready to handle it.
